Before I start reviewing this product, I would like to introduce myself as this is my first article on this marvelous blog *happy dance*. I am Shweta and I have more or less a normal skin. I’ve never had any problem with my skin. I’ve been following a good skin care regime for a year now and in this journey I’ve stumbled upon great products one of which is West Coast Clearclin Solution Revitalizing Toner.
West-Coast Pharmaceutical Works Ltd is a Ahemdabad based company, established in 1956 and known internationally for its medicines and other medical products. But recently, they’ve launched many skin care ranges. This toner is part of one of such ranges.
I bought this toner online. I didn’t expected it to be such a great product at such a minimal price. Let’s see how it worked for me.
95 INR for 60ml
CLEARCLIN SOLUTION is designed to clear the skin and make it clean. It removes oil, dirt, make-up, surface and dead skin cells and leaves skin feeling fresh, healthy looking, renewed and bacteria free.
Ingredients and Directions:
My Experience with West-Coast Clearclin Solution Revitalizing Toner:
This is hazel brown coloured liquid with a watery consistency just like any other toner, but with an unpleasant smell.
Though I am not a toner girl, I used this product and realized that it does make my face look cleaner than before when I just used to use a cleanser and no toner. I was amazed how beautifully it cleaned my face without any irritation. The presence of camphor and peppermint gives a really cooling and relaxing effect without stinging. Chlorhexidine gluconate is a type of disinfectant which kills any bacteria hanging around on your beautiful skin. The presence of tree oil made my skin a little glowy and rejuvenated it at the same time. I am not sure if it reduces or controls any acne as my skin is not prone to acne but yes, I didn’t had any breakouts or rashes after using it. The product claims to have salicylic acid, which is a great anti-acne agent. So, It might work.
Moreover, over the time it has also made my skin more cleaner and it has also proved to be a good spot treatment for me as it helped in reducing the size of small random bumps, which I had got due to usage of cold water on my face (Delhi winters!!).
The smell of camphor is a little problem for sensitive noses as it has a weird damp odour, which goes away after some time. For me it was not a big problem because my moisturizer concealed that smell.
Pros of West-Coast Clearclin Solution Revitalizing Toner:
- Removes impurities and bacteria.
- Does not irritate the skin.
- Makes the skin glowy, cleaner and refreshed.
- Does not result in any breakout.
- Long shelf life (4 years).
- Paraben free.
- Does not clog pores.
- Easily available in India.
- Value for money.
Cons of West-Coast Clearclin Solution Revitalizing Toner:
- Unpleasant smell, though not a big problem.
- It does not control oil on the face.
- Might not work for really oily skin.
Would I repurchase West-Coast Clearclin Solution Revitalizing Toner?
