Hola amigos,
I am back with another beautiful (literally!!) product for you all. Clinique is quickly becoming my favorite beauty brand. (Thanks to Jomo :D) They have a huge range of products and skin care that is targeted by skin type and so far, none of the ones I have used have disappointed me. Clinique cheek pops are not new to us. They were launched last year and “Peach Pop” is one of the original 4 colors that were initially launched by Clinique. They are one of the most beautiful blushes I have come across so far and honestly, this was the only reason I picked this baby.

My Experience with Clinique Cheek Pop Blush – Peach Pop:
Peach Pop is a warm-toned peachy coral shade. It has satin finish and though in the pan it looks like it contains shimmer, it doesn’t show up shimmery on your skin. Instead these super fine shimmer particles add a “glow” to your cheeks and give a satiny-luminous finish to the skin.
About the packaging, as everyone knows, it is literally drool worthy. The blush comes in a round acrylic packing which closes with a click, so you can throw it in your purse and carry around easily. I have done it a couple of times and it has survived. 😛 It does not contain any mirror for quick touch ups, but on the other hand, the transparent packaging makes it easy to identify the shade in your stash. And the awesome embossed daisy! Every time I use the blush, I wish that the daisy would stay forever. 😛
The blush, though is a powder blush, doesn’t feel powdery at all. There is absolutely no fallout. The consistency of the blush is pretty dense and it feels like a hybrid of cream and powder blushes. It applies flawlessly and does not accentuate pores or any dry areas/patches. It glides on the skin and applies smoothly without being streaky. The product is super blendable and is very forgiving. You can easily apply without worrying about going overboard. The blush is well pressed and so it is good to use a dense brush for application.
The pigmentation, I guess, varies from shade to shade and for this one is okay. It is not super pigmented, is pretty sheer and you do have to go over a couple of times to build the color on your cheeks, but then, that is not an issue at all and is great especially for people who are learning the tricks of the trade. 😉
The shade is build-able and would suit all skin tones.
Also, in case of this particular shade, not just the pigmentation, but staying power is okay too. It stayed on my dry-combination skin for around 5 hours before fading away completely. After around 5-6 hours, I couldn’t see any color on my cheeks. 🙁 I am not impressed here.

Would I Repurchase Clinique Cheek Pop Blush – Peach Pop?
Overall, I quite liked Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in Peach Pop. Though the color is very pretty, I am not very impressed with the pigmentation. I might not repurchase the same shade, but yes, I am definitely going to purchase some more shades from the range. If you love blushes, you have to get at least one of them. 😀
