Winter is round the corner and gradually setting in. Today I am sharing my personal views on Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream, a recent launch in their “Dramatically Different” series.

Application:
Cleansed, exfoliated skin accepts moisture better. For best results apply after facial wash and clarifying lotion. A little goes a long way. Massage a small amount of cream into skin wherever it’s dry or the entire face and throat twice daily.
My Experience with Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream:
This yellow coloured moisturising cream comes in a sturdy jar with a metal coloured lid. I have a sensitive – combination skin which tends to dry a lot. I also have uneven skin tone for which I use Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer as my morning cream on regular basis. However as the climate changes and winter sets in, my regular morning cream tends to dry certain areas of my face. So as weather changes my face creams and products also need to change. This time, I picked up Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Cream as my morning moisturiser for winters. The best thing about Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Cream is that it is not specifically meant for winters, but can be used any time during the year.
I first cleanse my face and then use this cream. After using it, my skin feels soft, supple and baby like. As claimed, it is truly a moisture rich cream which hydrates and nourishes the skin giving a smooth texture and supple feel to the skin. Even though it’s a moisturising cream, it does not feel greasy or sticky, but has a smooth buttery texture. On application, the skin does not feel tight, dehydrated or dry, and does not result in any breakouts. Dramatically wow and smooth as silk! It keeps my skin moisturised and hydrated throughout.
In my opinion, this moisturising cream is suitable for dry and extra dry type skins as mentioned on the reverse of the bottle and is not for acne prone or oily skin types. I am saying this as my skin type is combination and the normal areas feel a bit oily after a few hours. This only happens when I have only this cream on my face, and no makeup or compact. This cream does not have any SPF which I find to be a drawback especially when I have to go out in the strong sun. I have to use an SPF powder foundation or different cream in such cases.

Cons of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream:
• Does not have SPF
Would I Recommend Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream?
All their products in the Dramatically Different range are equally good and similar, here I am referring to their lotion and gel. I would suggest you to make a choice depending on your skin type and your requirement.
