Clinique Kissyfit Long Last Glosswear Review

Lovely hello to all my beautiful friends,

I am not a gloss person. Though I used to wear only glosses a couple of years back because I wanted just a hint of color on my lips. But, that was mainly because I was kind of sure that most of the lip colors won’t suit me and also because glosses were perfect for wearing at my work place – just a dash of color on my lips, nothing too stark. Gradually, I entered the world of lipsticks and since then, there has been no looking back. 😀 So much so that I don’t like wearing gloss now. I just apply a bit (if at all) on the top of my lipstick. So, I do not go ahead and buy glosses on my own. But when, somebody is giving it to you, why not!!! 😛 I mean who doesn’t like gifts. 😉 This gloss I received as GWP with my recent Clinique purchase and here I bring the review for you.

My Experience with Clinique Kissyfit Long Last Glosswear:

The gloss comes in a classic cylindrical plastic tube packing, as all other glosses, and has a simple slant tip applicator. Since mine is a GWP, it is little smaller when compared to the original packing and is dual ended with Clinique Different Lipstick in Raspberry Glace on the other end on the tube.

The wand is nothing extraordinary to talk about, but does its work well and applies the gloss flawlessly on the lips.

Gloss and shimmer – that is a deadly combo which is total no-no for me. Hence I took my own sweet time just to try it out. 😉 But once I did, I really liked it. 😀

The gloss is really thick, like seriously thick. So, you need to apply just a little bit of it and it will last a long time. The shade is a lovely fuchsia with shimmers. Pigmentation is great according to the gloss, but it’s still sheer on the lips. I need to layer it up on my pigmented lips as the color does not show up in its full intensity on my lips. Hence I prefer wearing it over a lip liner or lipstick. The gloss is very sticky in texture, but then, this is the reason which makes the gloss long lasting.

The shimmers are not gritty at all, they are very fine and you won’t feel it on your lips at all. Also, they do not look over the top and the best part is that the glitter does not travel on the face at all. The gloss does not bleed or settle into the lip lines at all.

The staying power is great too. The gloss lasted on me for more than 6-7 hours with snacks and water.  Though the color faded in around 3 hours, the shine stayed on my lips. It did feel a bit heavy on my lips but the heaviness and sticky nature makes it long lasting.

Also, it was moisturizing enough. My dry lips did not need any lip balm till the gloss was on my lips.

The gloss added glow and shine to my face. 🙂 This Clinique Long Last Glosswear has totally changed how I feel about lip glosses.

• Lovely fuchsia shade.
• Very long lasting.
• Stays for 7-8 hours with light snacking.
• My lips stay moisturized till the gloss is on.
• Glitter is not over the top.
• Shimmer particles are very fine.
• Shimmer does not travel all over the face.
• The gloss does not bleed.

Cons of Clinique Kissyfit Long Last Glosswear:

• The color fades away from my lips in a couple of hours.
• Very thick texture.
• True color does not show on my pigmented lips.
