I picked up one of these shades from the new launches from Clinique. They said”matte” and I had to pick one up.The popular shades were out of stock and I did not want to settle for a red again hence I picked up a pink.Turns out this is a very milky light pink, not suited to warm skin but the texture bowled me over.

The lipstick comes in a metallic silver case like all the other Clinique long last lipsticks.I quite like them honestly and they are on the heavy side, no plastic feel to them. The lipstick looks sturdy and the bullet too has not been damaged so far.

The lipstick color turned out a little milky for my skin tone.It is a creamy cool toned milky pink. The color is pure matte but has a very surprising texture. It feels like a feather soft cushiony layer on the lips, unlike any matte lipstick you might have used.You may have used cakey mattes so far, but if you like mattes, you have to to try this one.The thing is, you might keep on layering it on and on and never even feel like you are wearing a lipstick at all.

Since it feels creamy, you need a smooth base on the lips, non-flaky.This will settle in lip lines so it is surely is a miss for dry lips.I find it so smoothing, that even after I removed it, I find my lips very soft unlike any matte lipstick.It transfers very less, and does not bleed.It does not feel heavy or dry and it covers lip pigmentation.This lasts on me easily for 4 hours without much smudging or any other issues.The only thing is this color is not made for me, I can mix it with a darker pink or apply it on a pinker lip liner.
