My Experience with Clinique Mineral Sunscreen Lotion For Body SPF 30
My experience with this sunscreen is pretty much the same as the face sunscreen. It comes in a big rectangular bottle with a nozzle and a cheery yellow flip top cap. The nozzle helps control the amount of product you want to use. Since it is a mineral sunscreen, it gives a great protection against both UVA and UVB rays. It includes both titanium dioxide and zinc oxide that are two of the main ingredients you should be looking in a sunscreen.
The texture of the liquid is runny creamy. It gets absorbed quickly without leaving any whitish cast behind. it does not feel oily or greasy on the skin. This is an oil free sunscreen so people with all skin types can use this.
Does this protect you from sunburn? yes
Does it protect you from sun-tan? Absolutely no.I got absolutely horrible tanning despite using this sunscreen generously and regularly during my vacation. I went atleast 5-6 shades darker within a week.
I don’t use a body sunscreen on a daily basis. I use it only when I am on the beach or I am going to be in sun for a long time. But if you are someone who uses a body sunscreen daily, this could be a good option. It does not leave any oiliness behind and you could totally get dressed up after using this. this would not spoil your clothes.
This also comes with a SPF 50 version but after my experience with this one, I might not give SPF 50 a try. Overall, both these sunscreens (face and body) have been very average for me. I would not be picking these up again despite their pros. I do always take in consideration that I would be be tanned no matter which sunscreen I use. But this was tanning of another level. I have used so many sunscreens in past and have offered really good protection. But these ones have left me very disappointed. You have both the pros and cons listed for you. I think I’d leave the judgement to pick these up on you only.
