My Experience with Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer Plum Pop:
Plum Pop comes in a tube which is corresponding to the colour of the lipstick itself, which makes it easier to find in your makeup stash. The cap is silver in colour with Clinique printed on it. The name of the brand is printed at the bottom of the tube.
The colour pay off of this lipstick is just insane. These are high, highly pigmented. You just need one single swipe to cover up your lips entirely. Isn’t it amazing? The lipstick doesn’t accentuate my dry patches. I struggle with dry lips all the time and always have to put a lip balm before I apply lipstick. But in the case of Clinique pop lip colour, I don’t have to because these feel so hydrating on the lips that you don’t need a lip balm .
The shade Plum Pop is a beautiful mauve shade with a hint of pink. When it comes to consistency of the lipstick, as I mentioned above, it’s very moisturising. I totally understand why they mentioned primer in this. It literally glides over my lips like I have had a primer underneath. Clinique pop lip colour has a creamy finish .
The only downside to these lipsticks is the wear time. These last only for 2-3 hours on my lips. These lipsticks do leave a stain if you wear a bold colour, but with colour like Plum Pop, I don’t see any stain after the color wears off. These feel very comfortable on the lips, and did I mention this is a perfect product for people who don’t prefer fragrance in their lip products? Yes, it’s fragrance-free !
