My mother-in-law is so happy that I am finally completing this series of posts as she was my model for all the swatches and was as excited as me. Since these posts were getting really long, I have tried to compress the swatches together. 1. Sea Foam – A delicate, pastel green hue with a satiny finish. Although the swatches look more towards being blue, it is basically en extremely light blue with green undertones. It has amazing texture, finishing and pigmentation.

2. Mint Condition – A frosty pastel green hue with a satiny finish. This one too is a nice shimmery light blue with green base and great pigmentation.

3. Amazonian Ice – A bright green hue with an ultra shimmer finish. Super pigmentation and soft and smooth texture and finishing.
4. Appletini – A muted green hue with a matte finish. It has ok pigmentation and requires multiple swipes. This color looks very pretty in the palette but requires multiple applications to get the desired color. Also seems to be a little dry.

5. Limelight – A vibrant green hue with a shimmery finish. Amazingly fresh foiled eye shadow kind of finishing with smooth texture.

6. Prehistoric Green – Unearth this vivid, matte green shade. Didn’t like this shade though. Its dry, chalky and very low pigmentation wise.

7. Minty Fizz – A pastel, mint green hue with an ultra shimmer finish. Very true to its name. Shimmery pigmented color.

8. Mellow Yellow – A vibrant yellowish-green hue with a matte finish. Light green with yellow undertones. Ok pigmentation wise.

9. Fresh Pear – A vivid yellowish-green hue with a matte finish. A little darker and brighter version of shade no.8 with better pigmentation.

10. Spring Fever – An ultra shimmery, bright green hued shadow. Smooth texture and shimmery finish. Great pigmentation.

11. Emerald Ice – An ultra shimmery, emerald green shade. Crazily pigmented.

12. Hoppin Jalapeno – A zesty green hue with a matte finish. A matte finished olive green color. Although matte it has smooth texture and good pigmentation.

13. Celery Ice – A frosty, light green hue with a shimmery finish. Amazing frosty finish with crazy pigmentation.

14. Honeysuckle – A pastel yellow-green hue with a satiny finish. Although the texture and finishing is good the pigmentation could have been better.

15. Peridot – A sparkling green jewel tone with a shimmery finish. An absolute must have. This is such a glamorous shade and can add a sparkle to your face. Pigmentation wise you will go nuts.

16.Python Green – A vivid yellow-green hue with a matte finish. A no-no kind of shade. Not a great shade, also the texture finishing and pigmentation are not good.

17. Sage sensation – A light, golden-olive hue with a shimmery finish. A light olive green color with golden undertones with satiny shimmery finish with great pigmentation.

18. Olivewood – A deep olive hue with a matte finish. To me it looks like a very normal burnt brown shade. Very dry and patchy.

19. Snow Pea – A lightly iced, pale green hue with a satin finish. Ice blue shade with silver undertones due to which it shines. There are no obvious shimmer particles in it.

20. Limeade – A vibrant jolt of lime green with a blast of golden shimmer. Very pretty lime green with golden base. Although it says golden shimmer it is not very obvious. I think it shines towards being more silverish. But the pigmentation is crazy.

21. Fluorescent – A luminous green hue with a satiny finish. A subtle but vibrant color with good
texture, finishing and pigmentation.

22. Fairy Gold – Sprinkle on a dash of mythical, shimmering gold. A very basic daily use kind of gold.

23. Golden Avocado – A lush, golden-green hue with a shimmer finish. A bronze with shimmery satin finish. Great pigmentation too.

24. Bermuda Sand – A smooth, brown-taupe hue with a satin finish. After many applications the color still failed to show up on the skin. Could be used for subtle highlighting though.

1. Forest Eve – A deep olive green hue with a shimmery finish. Is more of a burnt olive green with smooth finishing and crazy pigmentation.

2. Gypsy Night – A radiant wash of gunmetal with a shimmery finish. Amazing pigmentation.

3. Timeless Taupe – An antique brownish-grey hue with a matte finish. Dry, chalky and low on pigmentation.

4. Ashen – A light greyish-taupe hue with a satiny finish. Very pretty shimmer silver with greyish brown undertones. Works great as an eyebrow bone highlighter.

5. Wishy Washy – A muted grey hue with a matte finish. Silver with grey undertones. More like Ivory. Works best as a base and for the inner corner of the eyes.

6. Arctic Breeze – A sheer grey hue with a satiny finish. Again a good highlighter for brow bone or can be used as a base.

7. Balsam – A deep, golden-green hue with a shimmery finish. This one has a golden orangy undertone. Love this shade. Very good pigmentation.

8. Brownstone – A matte shade with a medium brown hue. Brown with blackish undertones. Good on pigmentation.

9. Golden Sienna – A warm sienna hue with gold sparks and a shimmery finish. Absolute Love. Looks like burnt bronze and has foiled eye shadow kind of finishing, Crazily pigmented.

10. Gypsy Stone – Gypsy Stone features a smokey, titanium grey hue with a satiny finish. Nice pigmentation.

11.Ash Grey – A neutral, monochrome hue with an opaque, matte finish. Absolute simple grey. Ok pigmentation, might need multiple swipes.

12. Summer Rain – A sheer, bluish-grey hue with a satiny finish. Again a very light blue with silver tint. Good pigmentation.

All these 8 have very soft texture and smooth finishing. Pigmentation is also great and all of them have silver undertones.

13. Bungalow Gold – A light, golden-tan hue with an ultra shimmer finish.

14. Deep Cider – A rich brown hue with golden sparks and a shimmery finish. There are actually gritty shimmer particles in this shade but they are easily blendable.

15. Cherry Moss – A reddish-brown hue with green iridescent shimmer. I don’t see any green shimmers here.

16. Aluminium Taupe – A dark, metallic silver hue with a shimmery finish. One of my love’s.

17. Alpengeist – An icy, platinum hue with a shimmer finish. An absolute sober icy silver.

18. Coastal Cliff – A satin shade with a bluish-grey hue. More of a grey color with light blue and green undertones.

19. Dark Golden olive – A shimmering, deep green hue with iridescent golden sparks. There are golden sparks in here which shimmer in light.

20. Niagara – A wash of bluish-green with a shimmery finish. Lighter version of Navy blue with shimmery finish.

21. Pacific Opal – A glistening teal hue with a shimmery finish. Light shimmery blue with green undertones.

22. Glacier Blue – An icy, blue-grey hue with an ultra shimmer finish. A lighter version of shade no.21

23. Persian Green – A deep shimmering shade of green. Light sea green with more towards silver. Crazily pigmented.

24. Blue Hawaiian – A lush, blue-green hue with a satiny finish. A pretty light blue with satin shimmery finish and texture. Pigmentation wise also it is good.

1. Tropic Green – An electric green hue with a shimmer finish. Pigmentation is wow.

2. Honey I Dew – A pale green hue with a slight flash of shimmer

3. French Chive – A deep, crisp green with a matte finish. Although the pigmentation is good, this one feels a little dry on skin.

4. Slate Green – A rustic, deep green hue with a shimmery finish. It’s a more metallic, silverish and smoother version of shade no.3

5. Dark Goldenrod – A deep, gleaming golden hue with a shimmer finish.

6. Bazaar – A satiny, bronze steel hue with a sleek finish. This one is one of my favourites. Bronze with heavy silver undertone. Crazy pigmentation and an absolute adorable shade.

These 8 are again one of the best in the lots. They score a 10 on 10 for texture, finishing and pigmentation.

7. Laguna Green – A lavish green hue with a shimmery finish

8. Jewel Teal – A touch of greenish blue for a sophisticated, shimmery finish. I love this one.
Such an artistic shade.

9. Herbal Green – A deep, forest green hue with a shimmer finish.

10. Burnished – An opaque, deep brown with a matte finish. An absolute no. Not that great a color.

11. Kodiak – A shimmery golden brown hue. CS has some amazing bronze shades and this is one of
them. Crazily pigmented.

12. Rainstorm – A mysteriously, deep blue shade with a shimmer finish. This one does have blue shimmer particles which are very obvious once applied.

13. Grape Vine – A lavish, golden-green hue with a shimmery finish.

14. Pinehurst – A rich, forest green hue with a matte finish. Good pigmentation but very dry in application.

15. Opal Black – A dazzling black hue with shimmering sparks. Looks more like brown in light.

16. Thunderous – A rich, gunmetal-bronze hue with a satin finish. A very dark brown with blackish undertones and shimmer. Very good pigmentation.

17. Tanzanite – A velvety, deep blue shade with a satin finish. Shimmery Royal blue shade.

18. Indigo Dream – An intense navy hue with gleaming silver sparks. Matte finish and very powdery.

1. Platinum Blue – A metallic, silver-blue hue with a shimmer finish. More of a gunmetal black with blue undertones.

2. Blue Zircon – A tantalizing blue shade with a shimmer finish. Crazily pigmented.

3. Calypso – A lush, radiant blue shade with a shimmer finish.

4. Vibrant blue – Liven up your eyes with our aqua blue shadow that offers a matte finish. Ok pigmentation.

5. Icicile Blue – A soft, sheer blue shade with a matte finish. Not a very great shade. Low on texture and pigmentation.

6. Cyan Frost – An icy, pastel blue shade with a shimmering finish. Is a little darker and shimmery version of shade no.5. Nice pigmentation.

7. Capri Blue – A charming, true blue shade with a satin finish. Crazily pigmented with foiled eye shadow finish shimmery royal blue.

8. Caribbean – A crisp, vivid blue shade with a shimmer finish. A darker version of sea green.

9. Mali Blue – A true, pacific blue shade with a satin finish. A light version of sea green. Has good pigmentation.

10. Island Breeze – A vivid teal hue with a shimmery finish. A very light sea green.

11. Sea Lily – A wispy, blue-green hue with a soft, matte finish. A very dull matte shade,

12. Sky Blue – A hint of radiant blue with a sheer, matte finish. Again a dull matte sky blue shade.

13. Lakeshore – A shimmery mix of gold, green, and blue hues. Love this shade. Truly a combination of gold, green and blue.

14. Mazarine Blue – A bold blue shade with a shimmery finish.

15. Empress Teal – A lavish, blue-green hue with a smooth, matte finish. Although matte this one fares really well in terms of texture, finishing and pigmentation.

16. Azure Frost – An icy burst of blue with a shimmery finish

17. Aqua Mist – A delicate blue haze with a shimmery finish. A darker version of shade no.16

18. Sea Spray – A soft, wash of pastel blue with a matte finish. An absolute basic light blue.

• Subtle, matte, shimmery, satiny, vibrant greens, gold and blues.
• Foil finishing.
• Creamy texture.
• Smooth application.
• Crazy pigmentation.
• Amazing staying power as they last for more than 5-6 hours.

Cons:

• The matte shades seem dry and chalky.
• Some matte shades do not show up on the skin.
• Eye shadows are really tiny .

1. Incognito – A mysterious black hue with a matte finish. This one has brown undertones. Crazy pigmentation and very apt for smokey eyes.

2. Navy Baby – A deep, opaque blue with a matte finish. Amazing Pigmentation.

3. Edgy Eggplant – A vivid bluish-purple hue with a matte finish. Although being matte this one has smooth texture and great pigmentation.

4. Violetta – A deep mauve-violet hue with a satin finish. Is very chalky and dry and just won’t show up on the skin. Very poor at pigmentation.

5. Sundance – A glowing orange-yellow hue with a satin finish. This one actually is a very pretty shade but does not show up on the indian skin tones. Would work great as a highlighter.

6. Oktoberfest – A burnished orange-brown hue with a matte finish. Brown with orange base. Very smooth texture.

7. Stone Cold – A charcoal hue shadow with a shimmer finish. Crazily pigmented soft texture shimmery metallic black shade.

8. Sail Away – A smooth, ocean blue shade with a matte finish. Great pigmentation.

9. Violet Echo – A shimmering, deep violet hue with silver sparks. The silver sparks are clearly visible. Pigmentation wise it is awesome.

10. Fine Wine – A delicate mauve-red hue with a matte finish. The texture is awesome and very sober pigmentation. Again one of my favourites.

11. Golden Globe – A glistening golden hue with a satin finish. Is a darker shimmery version of shade no. 5.Pigmentation is better.

12. St. Topaz – A gleaming orange-bronze hue with a shimmery finish. Crazily pigmented golden bronze.

13. Gunpowder – A shimmering charcoal black hue with silver sparks. Seems a little dry though.

14. Gypsy Blue – Gypsy Blue features a beautiful haze of light blue with subtle undertones of grey and gold that complements any eye color.

15. Purple Panic – A gentle purple hue with a matte finish. Very low pigmentation.

16. Lovelight – A stunning, baby pink hue with a satin finish. Very pretty shade.

17. Canary Diamond – A gleaming yellow hue with a shimmer finish. More of a lemon yellow glittery shade. Great pigmentation.

18. Caramel – Radiate a warm, rich aurora with this shimmery, brown shadow. Looks like a coral shimmery shade.

19. Concrete Jungle – A deep steel-grey hue with a metallic, shimmer finish.

20. Jet Stream – A smooth grayish-blue shade with a satin finish. Amazing pigmentation and smooth finishing.

21. Profound Plum – An intense purple hue with a matte finish. Purple with black undertones.

22. Foxy Pink – A cunning pink hue with a shimmer finish. Reddish Pink shade with extremely soft texture and shimmery finish.

23. Bombshell – A scandalous, sparkling yellow hue with a shimmer finish. A darker version of shade no. 17

1. Deep Roast – A robust, dark brown hue with a matte finish. A very ordinary looking brown.

2. Sassy Grass – A lively green hue with a satin finish. Dark green with good pigmentation and texture.

3. Vibrant Blue Green – Add a vivid flash of bluish green that offers a matte finish.

4. Tuscany – A rustic reddish-orange hue with a matte finish. Coral orange with matte look.

5. Gutsy Grape – A fearless, vibrant purple hue with a smooth, matte finish. Does not look like purple to me. More of basic blue with matte finish.

6. Golden Touch – A silky gold hue with a satin finish. An extremely light gold shade.

7. Boca Mocha – A rich, shimmering brown hue. A WOW shade, trust me. Amazing texture, finishing
and pigmentation.

8. So Jaded – An envious green hue with a shimmer finish. Amzingly pigmented shimmery Sea Green.

9. Bon Voyage – A vibrant turquoise hue with a satin finish.

10. Cajun Craze – A frenzy of shimmering orange-red shadow. One of the best shades that I have come across. Very pretty.

11. Blue Moon – A delicate, silver-blue hue with a shimmer finish.

12. Sun Worshipper – A deep, golden-bronze hue with a shimmery finish. Very pretty gold. Has
shimmers and pigmentation wise is very delicate.

13. Coconut Husk – A soft, muted brown hue with a matte finish. This one would score a 0.01 on the
scale of 10 for pigmentation.

14. Soft Clover – Add a touch of the Irish with this soft, satiny green shade.

15. Spring Fling – A lively teal hue with a satin finish. Pretty sky blue color.

16. Paprika – A rich, orange-red hue with a smooth, matte finish. A little dry though.

17. Wild Wisteria – A sheer wash of purple with a soft, matte finish. No way a purple. A darker
version of sky blue.

18. Copper Glaze – A gleaming copper hue with a shimmer finish. Another beautiful shade.

19. Cocoa Diamond – A decadent brown hue with a shimmer finish. Coppery brown with silver shimmer.

20 .Spruced Up – A frosty, sage green hue with a shimmery finish. A pretty fresh color to add that pop to your eyes.

21. Deep Viridian – Add a sophisticated gleam to your eyes with this deep green, shimmery shadow.

22. Mai Tai – An indulging mauve hue with a silver shimmer. A light mauve with silver undertones.
Smooth satiny finish and texture and great pigmentation.

23. Queen’s Jubilee – A hushed purple hue with gleaming silver sparks.

24. Fool’s Gold – A muted yellow-gold hue with a matte finish. Looks like ochre yellow with matte finish.

1. Goldmine – A foray of golden and bronze shimmer. Crazily pigmented beautiful golden bronze.

2. Deep Teal – Coat your eyes in a serene, blue-green shade with a satiny finish. Teal Blue with slight green undertones. Again great texture, finishing and pigmentation.

3. Perfect Plum – Flaunt flawless eyes with this satiny, purple shade. The very first good looking purple from the entire lot.

4. Love Spell – A delicate pink hue with a soft, matte finish. A very girlie pink. Good pigmentation.

5. Honey Bee – A buzzing, pale yellow hue with a satin finish. Very pale yellow with silver base.

6. Tuscan Terra Cotta – An enticing baked orange hue with a satin finish. Not up to the mark. Looks much prettier in the palette but does not show up with its complete intensity on the skin.

7. Candlelight – A decadent wash of silvery-grey with a satin finish. Good for eye shadow base.

8. Sea Quest – A glistening blue shade with silver shimmer finish. Lovely shimmery highly
pigmented soft blue.

9. Violetville – A muted purple hue with a matte finish.

10. Razzmatazz – A flashy burst of silver and pink sparks. Is a shimmery version of shade no. 4

11. Daisy Shimmer – A soft, shimmering pale yellow hue. A shade very similar to no.5

12. Pumpkin Pie – A smooth orange hue with a matte finish. Again this one too is a darker version of shade no. 6

14. Polar Blue – An icy, pastel blue shade with a smooth, matte finish. A lighter version of shade no. 8

15. Lavender Lace – A delicate, light purple hue with a silky satin finish. Has matte finish though.

17. Southern Belle – A darling golden-yellow hue with a satin finish. A very light lemon yellow shade.

12. Elven Gold – Elven Gold adds a glistening shine to your eyes with its shimmery, pastel gold hues.

13. Stand Storm – A smooth, sandy brown hue with a satin finish.

14. Pale Green Tea – Enrich your eyes with this satiny, pastel green shade.

15. Reef Blue – Reef Blue features an invigorating, crystal blue shade with an opaque, satin
finish. Sky blue with satin touch.

16. Peach Puff – A pleasant pop of pinky-peach with a soft, matte finish.

17. Icelandic – A glistening periwinkle hue with a satin finish.

Would I Recommend Coastal Scents 252 Ultimate Palette?

A definite yes! Go for it. Except a few shades here and there, this palette is truly amazing. All the colours have soft texture and finishing is smooth too. Pigmentation wise, they score very well. All of them are easily blendable and complement the Indian skin tones.

Would I Repurchase Coastal Scents 252 Ultimate Palette?

Only if I am able to finish this one. But that seems like a distant dream.
