I ordered 88 palette from Coastal Scents on 19th of this months and I have received it today. The Coastal Scents palette came boxed and bubble wrapped in perfect condition. It’s a brand new palette and there has been no damage at all.
It ordered it from Coastal Scents website www.coastalscents.com and everything inclusive of shipping cost me Rs 1400/- I chose the cheapest shipping option.
There are 88 colours in the pallet and the pan size is exactly the size of a Cadbury gem.
Most colours in the Coastal Scents palette are matte, which was what I was looking for.
A mirror and applicators are fit inside the flap.

The colours are quite pigmented.
They have sent a very tiny blush sample . It’s called Sassy.

he he that blush is actually pita hua only. I think I would be able to apply it only on one cheek. 😛 😛
The palette is gorgeous. ANd I like the amount of colour you have in each pan. I would be able to finish them up atleast. 😛

Neha, perhaps you are not changing the country option there…its by default US..change that and you’ll see that our Indian states come in the list..then u can put in the PIN code.I ordered from Cherry culture…and it was fine..try that.!! 🙂

Mrunmayee, actually I wanted to have loads of colours. I wanted to experiment because there is no way I could buy so many colours separately so went for this one. 🙂 Also it has loads of neutrals as well , I was all the more convinced to buy it. 🙂

I personally love coastal scents. I have a gift voucher since two week burning my pocket. I guess i am gonna go with their new eyeshadow quads. You have to check them.
Will check it out Sarah. They have some eyeshadow pots or something also na. A lot of people say they are comparable to mac shadows. 🙂

I have one very useful suggestion for people who want to order stuff online- open a paypal account and pay through that. Most of these companies give you option to pay through Paypal. And if you do that, you can claim your refund through Paypal within 45 days if you do not receive your products or receive them in poor conditions.
Rati ordered brushes through Sigma once, and I made her pay through Paypal only. Glad that I did. The brushes didn’t arrive and we had no tracking number. I opened a case in Paypal claiming refund and got the money back.
A pretty good suggestion there. ! Thanx Sanjeev..I keep ordering once in a while..but never thru Paypal..Guess was just lucky that no ‘absent couriers’ till date..!! But will keep this in mind.

I have this!!I got mine last year..Its a fun palette…But I find a few of the colors more powdery than pigmented esp the lighter ones..the darker ones are quite pigmented..one swipe and you are done..!!.And you can do numerous looks there without getting bored…!!Plus one can always combine other e/s with shades from this palette and create..!!Creativity overflows with this one!!…
And yes!! I love to order from CS …they deliver like super fast..even with the cheapest option…and its in super good condition too..and the samples !!.. :yes:

Anupam, haven’t checked out all the colours yet. Had a long day today so haven’t even seen it nicely. Sigh!! ut yeah I also purchased it mainly because I wanted to experiment with the colours and see what looks good on me and what doesn’t. There was no other way I could do that. 🙂

Cali, you can attach your credit card with your paypal account. In your paypal account look for how to verify your credit card. Afterwards, I don’t think you need a single penny in your paypal account. If you order something and the paypal account does not have sufficient funds, it charges your credit card. That is what I think, although I have never done it in practise.

Apporva while checking out you get an option to pay via payal. Just checkout using that option. Nothing else. 🙂

You can check out Inglot brushes. If you want to go for very inexpensive options you can go for vega brushes. Just that with Vega you would have limited brush options. 🙂
