As you all know Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette is one of the most loved eye shadow palette and I have been longing to buy it. When my sis said she would be visiting us in December, this was the first thing on my list to ask her to bring. I like shimmers and glitters so I asked her to order the shimmer eye shadow palette. The palette was ordered online during a sale season and this one came to Rs.1000; I think the best deal I have got so far.
Though it has been hardly ten days since I got Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette, I could not resist myself from trying this. So I just picked it up and tried all kind of eye makeup using this palette. I should tell you that this worked wonders even when a novice like me tried it. Colour pay off is really good and if used with a primer the color stays on for quite some time.
I was so excited to see so many colours that I was working out so many combinations in mind to try this out. I have swiped each colour twice and you can see swatches in my bare hands to get an idea about the colour pay off. I am just a starter when it comes to eye make-up but still got this, and now I have a wide range of options to choose from. People like Deeptima, Rati, Suma and all eye make-up pros here in IMBB should buy Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette or even the bigger version of it. Yes, I am loving loving and loving it . 🙂 It was shipped promptly in a week’s time and also no damage to the palette so I was super duper glad.
All colours are vibrant and bright at the same time shimmer is mild that it can be worn during both day and night [Of course this won’t do good for a formal look]. I am sure this won’t give that jazzy look at all. Shimmers are minimal at the same time noticeable. This is the best gift one could give to a friend who is experimenting with make up like me 😉
The shades range from pink, purples, blue, black, silver, white, browns, green, yellows and combinations of all these. So any colour your dress might be there is a shade to suit your outfit. Just this one product and that is it one need not worry about getting any more colours unless you finish any particular colour in this.

I love my Coastal Scents palette. I have the matte one na but this one looks equally good. The best thing about these palettes is that you have all the colours at one place and you don’t have to keep buying endless eye shadows forever. 1000 is an excellent deal. I think everyone should have atleast one CS palette. They are fab! :victory:

Get it cali, you can use the awesome neutrals it has and use the rest of the eyeshadows on top of your liners…:)

You can use the colours in this palette for a formal look 🙂 Maybe a brown-ish shade that is like your skin colour but with shimmer and simple black eyeliner with mascara. It will look subtle (because when you open your eyes the shimmer will be minimal) and classy.
