I have one more DIY for you. This is a body butter that I love. The best thing about homemade cosmetics is that we can use them without any worries at all. We know what we are putting on our skin and it makes the products a little safer to use.
Today’s DIY needs Cocoa butter, Shea Butter, Glycerin, Aloe Vera gel/pulp, Vitamin E capsule and an essential oil of your choice.
I have put the text on the pictures to let the pictures speak! 🙂
I have been using it since last 4 months and maybe even more. I had clicked the pics of the preparation when I made this but forgot to share it on IMBB. I first wanted to test it out on my skin. As you can see in the pics, I have already finished more than half of the tub.
Now that I am quite happy with its preparation, I am sharing it with you guys here.
Note: This body cream looks and feels a little grainy. Its texture is like that and I guess it is because I did not whip it. I was also not sure how it would whip up as I used fresh aloe vera in it. So, if you don’t mind the grainy, coarse texture, go ahead.
Here you go.
I hope you guys enjoyed it and here is a small visual treat for you from Andamans. In the hot summer, this may provide a bit of relief 😀 I captured this serene sunset just before the onset of monsoons here and right from the gate of my house! 😀
