I am reviewing some thing today that I think most of us will like, well not essentially this but the whole package and the feel of a nice soft bronzer and more so a glow powder to escape flat foundation and powdered face.

I don’t know when I was enlightened that my face would look horrid with just foundation and powder and it badly needed a blush and a bronzer or a darker tone powder than my face color. Since then I haven’t looked back and I use a blush ( a very light one like nutmeg) and I do use a highlighter, not a shimmer one but a one with a pearly sheen and I do try to use a darker shade of bronzer in my hollow of the cheek and under the jaw, sides of the nose and the forehead. I can guarantee once u start using a highlighter, a soft lighter tone powder with a sheen on the bridge of your nose and the high of the cheek bone, and a bronzer like I mention above , flat powdered face will be history for you.

I got this from superdrug in Chester,England and I had really second thoughts about buying this one or the mosaic one from rimmel . there was such a huge array of brands there that my heart skipped a beat and my mind was boggled, unfortunately I didn’t get time to get more of sleek and MUA as well and gosh perhaps but I still got this beauty from the very first counter of collection 2000 placed with the likes of Rimmel. 🙂

I don’t have a mosaic powder and definitely not a shimmering one and this is very dear to my heart. I can see there are three shades on there and when swiped across it’s a soft coppery tone. My favourite one is the lightest one but of course I need to sweep my brush all over it.

The colors are very nice making not a deep dark bronzer but a very light one to contour the face, it’s not shimmery at all but it has a pearly metallic sheen to it, much better than shimmer and making it much more wearable regularly.

The texture is awesome, just right, neither too crumbly soft nor too hard and chalky but perfect. I don’t need too much of bronzer and hence I love this kind of soft but not very mouss-y kind of feel to it.

The finish is just perfect, It doesn’t add too much of color to my face but gives a nice contour and even nicer glow and sheen . I can even skip blush and use this on the sides of my face. I simply love the pearly sheen.

Last word:
Soft and smooth, no shimmer but all sheen and soft glow rather than adding too much color, this is what this powder is about. I would recommend the lakme absolute highlighter, bronzer combo if you don’t have access to this one. 🙂

  5. Hey Neha, why dont u do an application tut for villagers like me. I usually apply my foundation and finish with a sweep of the powder, and also have a broad nose. Ur demo will be useful

    1. roopa nothing much
      i take a narrow or an angled brush
      first i go in the shape of a 3 on the sides of the face mainly on the sides in the hollow of the cheek and under the jaw
      and then wat is left i use it on the side of the nose
      and use a lighter color on the bridge of the nose

  12. OOO this looks good!! I was looking for a shimmery highlighter for that perfect summer glow. I wanted to get the Dior Amber diamond or Benefit high beam or pearl meets girl then I saw a dupe for benefit moon beam by me me me sun beam its called I think and now I see this I don’t know what to get 🙁
