Skin type: Oily eyelids.
Today, I have such an exciting British product to review. The moment I saw these palettes, I bought all the shades. Well, I own three of them and they all have some lovely everyday shades. This is clearly inspired by the naked palette. These are small and handy and come with their own charm. They do have pink and purple palettes too but, I own the “nude grey”, “nude” and the” Nude bronze” one.
Palette of 6 highly pigmented eyeshadow shades. Smooth, velvet texture for easy blending. Combination of shades enables you to create a natural daytime look and enhance with darker shades for an evening transformation.
My Experience with Collection Eyes Uncovered Palette – Nude Grey:
I love how they come with shades that are individually named. It is very thoughtful. The case is made up of cardboard and has a magnetic closure. I know, it’s not very sturdy to keep in your handbag, but, it feels super light. Personally, I like the packaging. It comes with a two-sided sponge applicator which I don’t prefer to use it.
Coming to the shades, the first light shade in Parchment is perfect for enhancing and lifting your brow bone, it is totally matte, though. You can also use it to blend two colors neatly or to clean the edges. The second color in Rubble is a perfect dull gold for everyday wear. This is great for warm skin tones and you could use it all over the lid. The color has a mild metallic finish.
The third color called, Under the Moon, is a silver shade and it’s a very nice lid color to brighten your eyes even with a simple eye liner look. There is mild shimmer to it, but, all the colors look slightly metallic on the eyes. The fourth color is a deep grey and good for blending your grey eyeliner pencil. You could also smoke it out for a day wear with your kohl pencil. The fourth shade is, In a Nutshell, is a deep brown shade with a metallic finish. I love pairing it up with brown smokey eyes or pencil liner in brown too. The last color is slightly on the matte side and a very deep black for your outer V or crease.
The colors are on the shiny side but, it does not have an irritating shimmer feel or fall out. They are smooth as butter and go very well. The only thing is you should not try to blend them out. You should pack them on the lid with a primer, for lid colors. The black, of course, can be played with. Without a primer, they do melt due to their softness, but with primer, I am happy with the wear time of over four hours on my oily lids. Overall, an awesome palette for warm skin tones s it works great for day and nighttime looks. Love it!
