My Experience with Collistar Biorevitalizing Face Cream:

The face cream comes in a glass jar which is white and navy blue in color. I love the packaging. It looks luxurious but is not very travel-friendly as the glass jar makes it heavy. I normally scoop out a little face cream in a smaller plastic bottle when I am travelling so that I save on space and weight.

The lid is made of plastic and works just perfect. There is also an inner flap lid that prevents the cream from sticking to the outer lid, which I really appreciate. The product also comes with a small scoop for everyday use. Many people do not like digging into the jar due to hygiene reasons. I am little lazy to use the scoop and prefer fingers. This whole packaging comes in a cardboard box with all details written on the box.

The texture of the cream is like soft butter. I love using it with my fingers. I feel the cream spreads very very well all over the face since it’s so creamy and not so thick. The product practically melts as you massage it into the skin. I love working with it.

The cream comes with a roller massager. It is recommended to use the roller every time you apply the cream to your face. The massager has soft plastic sheets which are square and piled irregularly. So, the pointy ends of the square create the pressure points and hence increase blood flow.

I personally do not like the massager as it’s quite big and cleaning it every time you use it is not convenient. I feel uncomfortable if I use it without washing it every time. So, I personally do not use it. The cream is white in color and has a very mild floral fragrance. The fragrance is so mild that it can be noticed only during the initial few minutes. This product has no added color or fragrance, which I find great.

The cream gets absorbed instantly leaving the skin semi-matte. It works well for all skin types including sensitive skin (like mine). The face cream works well as a base for makeup. I top it with a foundation and they work like a miracle, leaving my skin semi-matte. I use a setting powder only under my eyes and forehead.

I personally use this cream on the weekends as it claims to work on wrinkles. I do not have visible wrinkles but would like to prevent them. I also feel I don’t get the best out of it when apply makeup over it. So I use it during weekends as a night cream and sometimes as a morning cream too when I am home.

The skin on my face has improved a lot ever since I’ve started using this face cream. My skin looks much supple and glowing now. I use three Collistar creams and would like to give credit to all of these creams for my healthy and youthful skin. But, I am sure that even one of these creams would individually provide good results on all skin types.
