I recently reviewed Collistar Hydro-Protective Cream Anti-Pollution SPF 20, which happens to be my everyday day cream. I purchased Collistar Deep Moisturizing Cream to use it as my night cream. Read on for a detailed review.

My Experience with Collistar Deep Moisturizing Cream:
This product comes in a cardboard outer packaging. Inside this packaging is a beautifully shaped glass pot with a plastic screw lid. There is also a flap at the mouth of the pot to prevent the cream from sticking to the lid. Since the packaging is glass from outside and plastic from inside, it is a little heavy.
There is also a spatula included. The spatula looks cute and helps to keep the product hygienic. I am a little lazy to use the spatula and tend to dip my fingers into the pot instead. The consistency of the cream is creamy, smooth and not very thick. The cream itself is white in colour.
The product spreads very well on the skin and feels very light. Due to this property, it does not block pores or cause breakouts. I have dry and sensitive skin which does not feel oily or greasy when I use this cream. Indian beauty parlours use a certain cream and this cream smells just like that. I like the fragrance and feel that it’s more like a powdery fragrance, which is not overwhelming. The fragrance does not last long.
The product has no UV protection and hence I use it in the night. You can also use it in the morning but make sure to use additional UV protection. Thanks to its good absorption capacity, I can vouch that it works as a good primer, too. My skin feels fresh and radiant each time I use this cream. I have noticed that the texture of my skin has improved ever since I have started to use Collistar products.
These products do not cause any breakout or redness on my sensitive skin. The product is slightly expensive but worth every penny. I wish there were some anti-aging benefits also so that I didn’t have to shell out more money. It works well as a moisturiser. I’m totally happy with the product and its results.

Would I Recommend Collistar Deep Moisturizing Cream?
If you want a good night moisturiser then you can go for it. If you are young or blessed with great skin and don’t need anti-ageing benefits then this is just perfect. It also makes a good day cream but without sun protection.
