My Experience with Collistar Hydro-Protective Cream Anti-Pollution SPF 20:

This product comes in a cardboard outer packaging. Inside the cardboard, is a beautifully shaped glass pot with a plastic screw lid. There is also a flap at the mouth of the pot, which prevents the cream from sticking to the lid. Since this is a glass packaging, it is a little heavy.

There is also a spatula included. The spatula looks cute and it helps to keep the product hygienic. I am a little lazy to use the spatula and tend to dip my finger into the pot. The consistency of the cream is rich, smooth and slightly thick. The cream itself is white in colour.

Even though the cream is thick it gets absorbed very well and instantly into the skin. I massage the cream well into the skin. It spreads very well all over the skin. The fragrance is very mild and pleasant; it has no noticeable notes of flowers or fruits, though. I prefer my face creams to be as non-fragrant as possible. The mild fragrance also does not last more than 2 minutes.

This cream has SPF 20, which is a big plus. I do not have to apply any extra SPF. This cream does not leave a white cast due to the SPF present. My skin feels well primed and all set for makeup. I do not use any kind of primer before applying my foundation as I feel the cream works well as a primer too.

Collistar Hydro-Protective Cream Anti-Pollution SPF 20 Spatula

The cream feels light and non-greasy. It leaves my skin is well-moisturised and my skin does not get oily even after 8 hours. I have used it on a warm day outdoors and it worked fine. My skin was shine-free for 6 hours. The cream also claims to give a radiant skin but I could not see any changes there. My skin still looks the same.

Collistar Hydro-Protective Cream Anti-Pollution SPF 20 Swatch

I have a very sensitive skin and this cream did not cause any breakout or redness. Hence, it’s perfect for sensitive skin. This cream is intended for normal to dry skin and it has been working great on me. It does not reduce any wrinkles or scars but then it never claimed so.

Pros of Collistar Hydro-Protective Cream Anti-Pollution SPF 20:

• Contains SPF 20
• Does not leave any white cast
• Non-greasy
• Gets absorbed quickly
• Suitable for sensitive skin
• Works as a good primer

Cons of Collistar Hydro-Protective Cream Anti-Pollution SPF 20:

• No anti-wrinkle benefits

  1. i dont get the anti pollution part in this formula, either ways for skin care it is better to cover your skin when out in the sun or pollution, thanks for reviewing the product , cheers

    1. Hi Roshani,
I live in a country where pollution is not so high. So I could not check on this. Hence I did not mention in my opinion even though it claims to help.
