Am overwhelmed by all the love you have shown in the previous reviews of the stains; continuing with the Kiss Proof Stain range, here is the 005 Palm Beach shade. Read on more to know about this particular shade. The rest of the review regarding packaging and texture remains as it is.

My Experience with Colorbar 005 Palm Beach Kiss Proof Lip Stain Review:-

Packaging:
The outer silver paper carton is similar to other lipsticks from Colorbar. It has all the required information and claims regarding the product. On one end there is a color coded sticker with the shade name and number. The tube is one of its kind. The body and cap is silver with two see through windows. The applicator is long and sturdy at the same time. It picks up enough product to cover the lips at one go. You need not dig in again and again to pick up product. The base of the tube has the shade name, number and dates of manufacturing and expiry. I would say it is smart, unique and functional at the same time.

Texture:
The lip stain applies like a liquid lipstick initially. It takes about 10-15 seconds to settle to perfect matte stain on the lips. It is so lightweight that you tend to forget that you have anything applied on your lips. It is super matte and clings to the lips on application. For normal lips the texture will feel comfortable for initial 2 hours; after that you might need a lip balm.
Shade:
Palm Beach is a peach lover’s dream come true. This shade is so summer-y and happy that you are sure to be reminded of beach holidays. This has a very subtle pink undertone which takes away the “on-the face” kind of look, rather giving a beautiful wearable shade of peachy pink. I pair it with a pink and peach blushes and I love how versatile the shade is. Will suit a lot of skin tones, without washing them out. Again a favorite of mine from the range.

Staying Power:
Being a stain it stays on for LONG!, it might peel a bit at the centre of the lower lip after a full meal, but the shade will not completely disappear from the lips. A bit of touch up post-meal might be required. You do not require a lip liner as this covers the lips in just one swipe. With a lip liner, it might feel a bit heavy on the lips. You would need a lip balm after 2-3 hours to get the comfortable feel on the lips.
