I don’t have lots of Colorbar products, so I thought to pick up a few makeup stuff from this brand. I was searching for a good blue liner and I found this beautiful product. Today, I am going to share my review on Colorbar All-Matte Eyeliner in the shade ‘Matte Blue’. Let’s get into the details.

My Experience with Colorbar All-Matte Eyeliner – Matte Blue 004:

Packaging: Colorbar All-Matte Eyeliner comes in their usual shiny silver paper box and actual liner contains in a small black tube with a blue long wand that is easy to hold as well. It is pretty safe to carry around and light weight as well. It has a very fine felt tip applicator brush that works super smoothly. I am totally impressed with its thin brush applicator. It is so easy to draw a sharp precise winged liner with it and it takes only a few minutes to create a perfect line. This wand gives a perfect control on the application.

Shade: It comes in four shades and I picked ‘Matte Blue’, which is a beautiful royal blue color. It is neither too bright vivid blue nor a dull blue. It has the perfect balance of brightness and makes it a super wearable blue that goes with all skin tones. I was actually searching such a beautiful perfect blue. It looks so nice on my tanned skin tone. It also doesn’t have any shimmer or shiny particles in it. The shade is super pigmented that requires only single stroke for the perfect color pay off. It gives a beautiful bold intense color on eyes.

Texture and Quality: Liner has a liquid thin consistency that glides easily on eyes without any tugging. The application process is so smooth and easy that I never face any problem in drawing thick to thin lines with it. Due to its thin applicator, it can easily create fine line and the consistency is perfect for that. It also dries out quickly without any mess. I am impressed with its smooth formula that doesn’t feel patchy. It is quite easy to layer it up as well. It feels very light on the eyes and never feels dry on lids. I can take my time to correct it and it gives a perfect even look.

Now, it is matte eyeliner, so it settles into a perfect full matte texture and gives a gorgeous smooth, flawless look. Somehow, such matte finish looks very beautiful and attractive on eyes. I noticed that few of the matte liners look a little dull on eyes but it is not like that. It has a nice brightness in it which opens up my eyes as well.

It claimed to be a smudge-proof and transfer-proof liner and obviously, during monsoon, we all want these qualities in a liner. So, it does its job well and doesn’t transfer to lids and doesn’t smudge at all either. It never flakes or peels off from eyes and stays perfectly in its place without any mess. Hence, it is a long-lasting eye liner which never looks faded. The formula is waterproof as well. Also, it never irritated my eyes.

Staying Power: The formula holds the color for long and stays long for around 9 hours. It claims to last 16 hours but I never kept it for that long. Hence, for me, it survives a whole long day, even on my oily lids. I have quite watery eyes but, surprisingly, it never moves from corners either. It is also very easy to remove the liner.

Overall, it really is a high-performance eye liner with super pigmented color quality and the formula is so amazing that I am obsessed with it. This matte texture looks so gorgeous. I must say it is a great product. Only, it is little expensive for a liner. Actually, all the Colorbar products are expensive but the quality is totally worth it, so I never mind for it.
