Product Purchased by IMBB
Currently, I am in a “makeup foundation hoarding” stage. I saw this new foundation by a brand that I have been purchasing since 2009 -Colorbar. This foundation sounded very promising and the “filler” tag pulled me in. Read on more details about “Colorbar Amino Skin Radiant Foundation.”
A revolutionary water-resistant, high-coverage creamy formula dedicated to all skin types. It is characterized by the presence of lysine, an essential amino acid to maintaining the protein layer of the skin by improving hydration actively. It’s also enriched with sophisticated treated Japanese pigments which ensure a colour fidelity and uniformity in application. This perfect second skin foundation acts as “filler” to provide face a smooth and satin finish with the presence of Silicon Elastomers. Because it is a high coverage, a little goes a LONG way. One pump should be more than enough. The formula always applies beautifully, but for your most perfected complexion apply with one of our foundation brushes. For even longer wear, set with our primer or Moisturiser depending on your skin texture. Apply the foundation using circular movements, going from the centre of the face outwards. Start with the forehead and work towards the neck.
My Experience with Colorbar Amino Skin Radiant Foundation:
This comes in a unique tub container where you dispense the product by pressing the tub top. The centre dispenses the foundation like any pump. They say one pump is enough and it is very true honestly. This foundation is so creamy and luscious, one pump gives me enough coverage overall.
The foundation is soft but starts thickening once you start applying. It sets in no time, you need a smooth sort of moisturised face for this to work. I don’t see this foundation working for dry skin as this will not blend well on a dry base. A moisturiser or a moisturising primer is what you need under it.
Now, the beauty of the foundation – it fills my pores like nobody’s business. I can literally not see any scars or pores on my skin. This has amazed me more than any primer to be honest. This foundation gives full coverage as well, but you have to work really fast before it sets. This does not oxidise and it has lasted me for more 6 hours on a sweaty day. This can go without a powder as it really sets well on its own. I find the finish quite matte and I think more powder on it would mattify it further.
With a nice moisturizer underneath, this can work like a dewy formula when you blend it quickly. I think a damp Beauty Blender will do the job. A foundation brush is not ideal since this might not blend it as soon as you would like it too. The shade “Petal Fair” is meant for very fair skin with peach and pink tones to it. Unfortunately, I got a wrong shade and this does not photograph well, but I am confident that this looks like second skin and will photograph well if you find your match. There are lots of shades to choose from. It literally makes skin smooth, like a fresh cement layer 😛 and looks very natural to me. I am happy with the coverage too.

For sure I will. This foundation works brilliantly for pores and gives me smooth-looking natural skin with lasting coverage. I am buying another matching shade and will make this fair shade work like a primer since it fills pores so well.
