Colorbar keeps coming up with new launches every now and then. They have recently come up with a lot of foundations, loose powders, nail paints and eyeliners. I was lured to pick up this mousse as it looked perfect for the summer days when my skin tends to become greasy very soon. Read further to know how this new mousse from Colorbar worked for my skin.

My Experience with Colorbar Flawless Finish Mousse Foundation:
Packaging: The mousse comes in a classy silver box, like all other Colorbar products. The mousse comes in a tub with a see-through packaging but you cannot see the shade clearly. It has a mirror-like cap, in which you can see yourself clearly 😛 The price is fine for a product from Colorbar but I feel it would have been great if they had provided more quantity at this price.
Shade: The shade “Blush medium” is a perfect shade for tanned medium ski tone, but somehow for me, it is a little dark and more orange. I have yellow skin tone and this shade has a very strong hint of orange, which I did not like. On initial application, people can see that I have applied something orange on my face 😛 It looks perfect in artificial light but for natural light, it looks very cakey and fake. This shade would be fine for medium skin tone which is a bit tanned, but for me, damn, I picked up the wrong shade!
Consistency and Finish: The consistency is extremely creamy and perfect to be called a mousse. It blends like a dream on the skin, smoothly, and without irritating the skin. It does not give that heavy or cakey feel on the skin. The finish looks very natural and it looks pretty matte and the oil does not show up on my face for 3 hours or so. It imparts medium coverage, it conceals my imperfections and dark circles to a good extent, but not completely.
Staying Power: This mousse stays nicely on the skin for 4 hours with a little fading here and there. If I set it with loose powder, it stays for an hour or more.

Cons of Colorbar Flawless Finish Mousse Foundation:

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Colorbar Flawless Finish Mousse Foundation?
I would recommend buying this mousse only from the counter and not online because the shades are too difficult to choose online. I shall not buy it again as I like liquid foundations more! Planning to try more stuff from them ☺
