My Experience with Colorbar Hydra White Intense Whitening Hydrating Anti Spot Serum:
Look at the pretty cute awesome blue packaging. A small blue glass bottle with a medicinal dropper system to take the product out. The outer paper carton has all the required information. The bottle is tiny and I have travelled with it without spilling. I have kept the outer paper carton to avoid any damage to the bottle while travelling with it.
The texture is runny compared to serums. It is transparent and smoothes out on the face like gel. I am impressed to see the texture as I was expecting it to sit in the face before getting absorbed. But I was pleasantly surprised to notice it gets absorbed in no time and gives a hydrated look to the area. Though it has not been mentioned anywhere I have used it as a topical treatment and only a drop is required for the chin area; my area of blemish concern.
A little goes a long way owing to the texture of the serum. I have been using it regularly since the past few days and I must say I have not seen fresh zits popping up; moreover the faded marks are fading out more giving a clean fresh look to my face. I must say I am impressed with the effectiveness of the product although it is a drugstore brand; though the pricing of Colorbar is getting a bit crazy these days. One more thing I found good about the product is that it can be used by all skin types so you can definitely give this a try without bothering much about the skin type.
Having elaborated the goodness of the Serum I would give a final word on the comparison of this and the Za essence. I am slightly partial towards the Za essence for a few factors. One is the ease of a tube packaging, second would be the pricing and finally the effectiveness, which I find same for both. I am not trashing the Colorbar serum here, but just a comparative study for you to decide better. They are both effective and winners in their own way.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Colorbar Hydra White Intense Whitening Hydrating Anti Spot Serum?
Rarely I repurchase stuff, but given I choice I would pick the Za over this. You can try this if you are looking for an anti blemish/spot treatment, this is effective but slightly expensive.

Love how well you have covered everything in the review and the way you have compared it with the Za one. I love that range by Za and its effectiveness. I might be wrong here, but I feel Indian brands can do better if they reduce the price a bit.
I tried this at the store. I liked the results only. The SA’s script was impressive too but I wanted to revisit the idea just for the price. I agree with you Shikha. They could really work on the price as per the range. TY for the heads up Rash. I might end up picking it up 😛 although I would try Za too and maybe then I shall decide 🙂
Colorbar is one brand which is not Only supreme quality but variety in der product range. This serum looks decent enough. Beautifully reviewed.
I like the fact that this one is paraben-free… Is the Za one also paraben-free?
