I absolutely love trying out new stuff and thus Colorbar Hydra White Day Lotion came home with me 🙂 I have been using this religiously for the past few days and here is the review on the same.

My Experience with Colorbar Hydra White Intense Whitening Hydrating Day Lotion:

The packaging simply won my heart with the vivid blue, silver and white details. A lot of information is mentioned on both the outer paper carton and the bottle including ingredients and product description. The bottle is made of sturdy plastic which is matte and very sophisticated bold blue. The lotion comes in a pump dispenser and it can be twisted up to bring out the nozzle. There is no cap as such. The pump dispenses a little product each time which I think is nice as only a little amount is required for the full face; thus there is no wastage.

The texture is thinner than a cream and thicker than a lotion. I would say it is right in the middle of the two. It is creamy but not thick. It spreads well on clean face and a little goes a long way, so the 30 ml is going to last me long. 2-3 pea-sized products are enough for the full face.

It takes about one minute to completely get absorbed into the skin which is good as it gives a while to massage the lotion in. It is not all sticky or slippery which is a huge pro for people like me who hate their creams that feel “creamy.”

Coming to the effectiveness, I did not buy this to become fair. My sole intention was an even bright complexion. My blemish cream and essence have been working well, so this was an add on to the day care regimen. It has made my otherwise dull skin and glowy and healthy which was my motive behind buying a day cream. I will not comment on being fair as that is not something we should aim at; at least I do not aim at it. The consistency is lightweight and after getting absorbed, it feels like nothing on the skin. All I can feel is hydrated, moist, and happy skin.

I am very satisfied with my purchase, though it is slightly pricey and availability is an issue at the counters as of now. If you have oily-combination skin and do not want fragranced skin care products, definitely give this a shot. You will surely love the product a light-weight lotion for the day time usage.
