Skin Type- Combination to Oily; Sensitive Skin – No
I have been digging the “Hydra White” range from Colorbar! I was in two minds about picking the cleanser as I am not a fan of foam cleansers, yet I wanted to try this one out as I have mixed feelings about other products from the same range. Read on to know how this cleanser fared for me.
INR 790/- for 70 ml.
A brilliant liquid-to-foam whitening cleanser that actively washes away impurities, without disturbing skin’s natural moisture balance. This ultra-gentle whitening cleanser actively tones, balances and clarifies skin. The actives work together to calm your skin for ultimate skin health and comfort. The water-like texture gets instantly activated into rich airy foam to leave skin clear and hydrated. Suitable for all skin types.
My Experience with Colorbar Hydra White Intense Whitening Hydrating Foam Cleanser:
The packaging is in sync with the other “Hydra White” range products from Colorbar and that is quite a thoughtful approach in my opinion. The packaging is not only attractive, it’s also handy and functional. All the details about the product are mentioned on the outer paper carton. There is a small information leaflet provided that includes all information about the whole “Hydra White” range in general.
The texture of the cleanser is foamy and smooth, but the “airy fluff” claim is slightly misleading, as the quantity that you require for one-time use is more compared to regular cleansers. Considering the price and the quantity, it is definitely not the best out there. It spreads evenly onto the skin and cleanses very effectively. It takes away all dirt and grime in one go, but there is hardly any effect on long-lasting makeup. Not that it claims to work on such makeup, but such a feature is always welcome as far as cleansers are concerned.
I have two issues with the product – first, it claims to be hydrating, which is not true. My skin feels normal, not hydrated at all. On the contrary, I cannot skip hydration post washing my face, which again proves that it cleanses well, but it does not add any hydration to the skin in the process. Secondly, the whitening claim is something alluring to the general public, but I do not buy it. Having said that, I would like to add, that I was expecting some brightness from it, but I did not see anything of that sort. For me, it is a pretty average cleanser with tall claims; I would not go back to it. If you like foaming cleansers, there are budget options available which work in a similar way, if not better.
