Hope you all had a lovely Christmas.  I am already looking forward to the New Year and this year passed by in a jiffy. The month of December has always been special with the lovely Christmas decoration and the festivity mood all around. This year was made all the more special with the GOSF (Great Online Shopping Festival) from the 11th to 13th of December. It became so popular that they had to extend it for a day. I believe that pretty much explains how Indians are getting into the online shopping buzz. With the discounts and offers, I had to pick up a few stuff and this lip pencil is one of them. Read on to know how this fared for me.

Packaging:

Colorbar Nude Pink 007 comes in a twist-up-pencil form. Thankfully, it can be twisted back as well. The body is a grey plastic one with all details printed in black. The pencil is not too creamy and not too hard. No sharpening is required. The cap shuts with a click and hence makes the product travel friendly.

Texture:

This pencil is neither too creamy nor too hard which ensures that it does its job well. The texture lets the pencil stay in place. I am quite impressed with the texture and the pigmentation it provides with its texture.

My Experience with Colorbar Lip Pencil – Nude Pink:

I was so surprised to find that this shade was not reviewed on IMBB. This is my second pencil of the same shade and it is such a pretty natural nude on the lips that I happen to use it very often. Being nude pink in shade, it goes with all my light-colored lipsticks. I generally use it to fill in my lips before I coat my lips with lipstick. This makes the lipstick stay longer in place and lays the right canvas for the lipstick. Due to the texture of the lip liner, it glides on well on the lips, but you cannot wear it alone.

There has to be balm or gloss to give the required moisture to the lips. I mostly use this shade to create the base for the lipstick. It does the job well without hampering the true shade of any lip color. I wanted to grab as many pieces available, of this shade during the sale, but finally realized that there is always a tomorrow. It is so close to my natural lip color that it did not show up properly on the camera. Hope you can judge from the swatch.
