I got this one helluva pink today 😀 i really cant smiling at the thought on what my hubby would comment when he sees me wearing this milky mauve pink lipstick ..I mean I dont have a single one, well something similar from faces called candy floss but my Di took it, but then this one is soooo unique and so matte I bought it just as a collectible!
The packaging like I said is awesome, once you go the store, you see so many lippies lined up, :/ now common dont say it wont make you weak in your knees, so many shades you think oh my god, I actually told the SA omg how can they have so many shades it gets so difficult for us, that is when the mac SAs came to the colorbar stand alone 😀 hihi anyway, check this one out
The color is super duper pigmented, like one swipe and you know it is gonna be insane on your lips, so be careful with this kind of a pink, it goes on super smooth and still not delicate and then it goes on matte, I have layered it on for the pics, but trust me you dont wanna do that, I wasnt looking too good with this especially with no foundation, need to wear this with a blue based pink blush 😛
The pigmentation and finish is really impressive and since it is matte it does not transfer that much, I think it is best used when spread evenly with a finger, it would be fine as a tint never as a lippy unless you have a very fair pink toned complexion or blue pinks are your forte!
Now you have to agree it is one helluva collectible pink, I had to get, the quality is superb on this but again like all colorbar formula this one stain me in a hot pink shade, it is something about my lips and the formula in colorbar, no other lipstick stains me! :/ sob sob
Since it is matte it might feel a little drying to some, it covers pigmented lips and stays on forever like 4 plus hours is good for me, I suggest you check out this range at the store if you are okay with the stains and matte finish.
OMG i think I need to mix this with something to wear it outside, it is not very flattering on me 😀

OMG! There is pink and then there is Pink!! This looks like a dupe of MAC Candy Yum Yum (yet to be launched in India – I think you’ll see it by November end as part of a palette).

Why layer up other lipsticks ???? simply outline with a darker shade lip liner….plum or fuscia or any deep pinks…..It makes it wearable…that’s how i do it 😛
