Today in my first review on IMBB, I am reviewing a matte lipstick from Colorbar. I wanted to try out some matte and  bright shade. After trying out some shades I finalized  Rose Clair which is a bright neon pink.

Ingredients :

Castor oil, ozokerite, white beeswax, petroleum jelly, Lanolin anhydrous ip, Candelilla wax, carnauba wax, paraffin wax, propylparaben etc.

My take on Colorbar Matte Touch Lipstick – Rose Clair

First of all I loved the packaging of this lipstick. It comes in plain silver packaging with COLORBAR written over the cap in white. It looks quite classy and sturdy. The color is very bright pink as I wanted it to be. The texture is very smooth. When I tried this lipstick at counter, it did not feel like it is very matte. Infact it felt like it is a  creamy lipstick. It glides smoothly over lips. But after some time it gave a matte finish completely. It did not dry out my lips  as other matte lipsticks  usually do.

The pigmentation is very good. My lips are very pigmented and it completely hides it all in just one swipe. The color payoff is also good. It stayed for good 5 hours even when I had my meals also in between. It definitely became lighter after the meal but even then it was quite visible on  the lips.All in all I liked the lipstick and color both.I am happy with my purchase.

Pros of Colorbar Matte Touch Lipstick – Rose Clair:

1. Very nice color.
2. Good pigmentation.
3. Staying power is decent.
4. Does not dry out lips.

Cons of Colorbar Matte Touch Lipstick – Rose Clair

1. It has a very waxy kind of fragrance but that does not last long.
2. After a meal it fades more from inside of the  and leves a dark outline on lips which I don’t like.

Will I repurchase or recommend Colorbar Matte Touch Lipstick – Rose Clair?

I will not re-purchase this again as this will last long for me. I will recommend this to everyone who wants to try some matte lipstick within budget. Also, I find this neon pink would go with most Indian skin tones, not very sure about very dusky skin tone.
