I am so much in love with the concept of eye shadow sticks that I cannot have enough of them. From the pigmentation to the ease of application, it is a very handy option for people on the go. As promised here is the review on the shade Mulberry.

My Experience with Colorbar Mulberry All Day Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick:

The eyeshadow sticks come in a silver colored paper carton with all details written on it. The pencil has a black plastic body with color coded base. The base comes off as a sharpener which can be used to get a sharp tip for fresh precise application. The pencil is twist up style and thankfully twists back. The shade name and number is mentioned on the body and the outer carton as well.

The texture is creamy but does not melt on touching the skin. The pigmentation is awesome and one stroke gives enough color for the color to show up. The tip being sharp helps to draw a sharp line as a liner, else can be used as a shadow. In the EOTD I have used the shade as an over-all shade and blended the edges with a peachy brown shade. I have black on my waterline.

The shade is a personal favorite of mine and very aptly named as mulberry. There is a sheen to the shade and that really adds life to the shade. I love such wearable shades which glam up the look without looking OTT. It is a great option for smokey eyes if you want something other than black and brown.

The staying power is great as it stayed on my lids without fading or smearing. I have used it on my waterline and it did not cause any irritation. I had to remove it with an oil based makeup remover but still there was a dark cast left behind which was completely removed after washing the face with a face wash. This is a first staining eye shadow for me as I had seen only staining lip color before.

Overall I am quite liking the idea of shadow sticks that all brands are coming up with these days. This is slightly expensive and the particular shade is a personal choice/preference; other than that there are no complains about these.
