It was raining here in Mumbai! Oh, the weather has changed from bright sunny days to winters! I’m so loving it and I hope it continues to be like this. Anyway, today I’m excited to write this review because I never had any makeup brushes. Sad, I know. But, I’m happy that I own this own at least. Let’s see whether it impresses me or not!
My Experience with Colorbar Ready to Wink Perfect Eye Makeup Kit:
These babies come tightly packed in dual plastic packaging. The three brushes are rested in a plastic holder. The front side is transparent allowing us to see the cute brushes. The back side is black and has many details in white. There’s a mini description to what each brush does. I watch a lot of makeup videos, so I knew just by looking at the brush what it does. I always thought looking at those videos that eye makeup is so simple and easy. But, when you get to do it yourself, it does not look easy anymore. Of course, until you get the hang of it.
Each brush is white in colour with the brand name written in black. The bristles are super soft and two of them are red in colour, whereas the angled brush is orange in colour. The bristles are super soft to touch.
Let’s get into a detailed review of these brushes:
Eyeluring Eye Shadow Brush:
This is a flat dome shaped brush. It applies the base shadow really well. One thing about these brushes is that the bristles are very tightly packed so there’s no shedding of the hair. I find the length to be a little short. So, to cover the entire eye with the base shadow more pats and strokes are required.
It blends the shadow very well too! Just a few millimetres more to the brush would have done complete justice. But, that’s okay!
This is a brush which is a complete must have in every girl’s vanity. It is our beloved smudger brush. Whether you put on makeup or not, every girl wears a Kajal, at least. This helps to smudge the kajal so very well that your eyes look sultry and as if you’ve really put in a lot of time to do it. Whereas in reality, all you did was put on some kajal and smudged it twice or thrice! Ha! I find the length of this one to be perfect. It helps blend the shadow very well. Can also be used to define the inner corner of the eyes.
Eye Defining Brush:
The angled brush is very good for defining the eyes and also filling in the eye brows. I feel it is a little difficult to apply gel liners with it because it isn’t too compact to get the thin winged look, well, at least for me, or I might be doing it the wrong way.
Over all, these brushes are very soft and don’t poke you in the eye while applying your makeup. They don’t shed their bristles or lose their firmness or shape at all even after washing them. These brushes are multi purpose brushes and except the first brush, the length is perfect. Usually, when you buy makeup brush kits, the length of the overall brush is quite small, but these brushes are of very good length. They look like you’ve purchased them individually. I’m in love with these brushes and they are totally worth every penny you put in.
Summing up the pros and cons:
Pros of Colorbar Ready to Wink Perfect Eye Makeup Kit:
• Classy and travel friendly packaging.
• Value for money.
• Soft and gentle bristles.
• Perfect length of the brush and bristles.
• Don’t shed hair or lose their shape or firmness.
• Each brush is multi purpose brush.
• Perfect for beginners in makeup.
• Easily available online and offline.
Cons of Colorbar Ready to Wink Perfect Eye Makeup Kit:
• Eye Shadow brush should have been slightly bigger.
5 / 5

Neat set of brushes Priyanka. Good option for beginners for sure 🙂
Yes Jasmine! It’s the best one I feel! 🙂
Wow, they are so good for this price. I love Colorbar brushes. 🙂
Me too Shikha! 🙂 🙂
Nice set of eye brushes
Yes they are Arpita! 🙂
I have these brushes. I bought them three months back. I like them a lot. They are easy to use.
Hi Priyanka! Nicely reviewed. I am a fan of Colorbar brushes. They are so affordable. As for the first eyeluring eyeshadow brush, I think the reason why it is so short is maybe that it is meant to be used on the lower lashline rather than the lid. Try it that way and let me know if it works!
nice set.. 🙂 great review..though i would have liked if the eyeshadow brush was a bit longer as you said..
Nice set of brushes, Priyanka 🙂 I too need to buy a good set of brushes. I will keep this in mind 🙂
