My Experience with Colorbar Rich Red Matte Touch Lipstick:-

As always, I will begin with the packaging. The outer silver paper carton contains all detailed information on the lipstick. There is a color coded sticker at one end of the box and at the bottom of the tube as well. Though it is color coded, the shade range cannot be determined from the shade of the sticker. Nevertheless, you have to remember the shade from the name. This particular shade is not an issue as the name says a lot about the lipstick. The bullet is angled like typical Colorbar lipsticks and the initial uses are very neat with the sharp edged bullet. The cap shuts with click; hence the lipstick is travel friendly.

The texture of the shade is super smooth and glides on lips like butter. Though it is categorized as matte, the application is super creamy. After a while the color settles to a matte moist lip color. The shade is so pigmented that one swipe covers my pigmented lips. If you want full-on color, you have to swipe twice. Due to the boldness of the shade, applying twice might brighten up the whole look in a click.

The shade is a super bright bold beautiful red, which is no brainer as the name says a lot about the shade. It is more of a simple neutral red without much undertones. I believe that would make the shade versatile enough to be worn by ladies from various skin tones and occasions as well. I pair it with cat eyes and this gives the typical retro look to the makeup. There are absolutely no shimmers in the lip color.

The staying power varies from 3-4 hours without lip liner or any base. After fading there is a strong pink stain on the lips as is expected from this range of Colorbar. I am not very fond of such stained lips, so that comes as a con to me. For those who prefer to have some color left on their lips, even after fading, this is a good range. With a lip liner I have worn this shade up to 5 hours with minimal fading.

Repurchase – I will never be able to finish this up, so, no!
Recommend – Though not a must have, you can check this red if you are fond of reds, as this is matte, affordable as neutral.
