Like I mentioned these are new launches from Colorbar,a close take on the Mac sheen supreme lipsticks. The colors are nice but not many would be regular wear, many were plums but I did see two nudes, this was the more wearable one and I picked it up for my IMBB haul.

 

This is priced at 750, which is too much I thought, but I was keen to try these as they were new. This shade is a nice peach nude, this could be lighter for many, but still a light coat will do a nice job for a nice polished pout for office.The color has no shimmer, the texture is super creamy and glossy.

 

 

 

It comes in a nice metallic silver case but it is plastic (unlike Clinique) the case looks quite chic and it is a take on mac becuase of the slant tip of the case that it comes with ( see further below) The color is buttery and glossy, it leave a super gloss finish in one swipe, you cannot call it opaque but it is sheer to semi opaque for sure.

 

 

The smoothness of the lipstick that is again comparable to the Mac sheen supremes, but one thing I would like to point out here is that the mac ones are stickier and thicker, for this reason they last longer, also mac ones are buttery and they literally leave a layer of color behind.These are like many other creamy lipsticks you might have used and are not sticky.

 

 

The color looks a little too peach light nude on me, which is something I would point out, medium and dark skin tones avoid this color, lighter warmer and cooler skin tones can try it out, it is great for college and day and office wear no doubt.If you have very dry lips then this lipsticks is so creamy that will literally give a thick coat of creme color on the lips, and it will wear and tear the lipstick, so use it on smoother lips treated with some balm.

 

With Mac sheen supreme:

 

The texture feels light, not heavy, and non-sticky, dry lips will love it and pigmented lips can build the color up.What I love most if the plump lips look it gives, it kind of fills in the lip lines making lips look healthier.

This transfers very easily and hence lasts barely 1-2 hours, which is disappointing.The glossy part is gone in say 4 minutes, but the Mac ones are stickier so the color and the gloss stays intact. Apart form that though it is a good lipstick, it is not as good as Mac sheen supremes in terms of gloss and lasting power and you might have used similar lip colors for lesser than 750.

Anway, I would say if you love the brand, love glossy plumper lips, and love such nude shades, then try it out for 750 or else skip it for a similar shade at a lesser price.They do not have many colors to choose from.
