I have recently picked newly launched Colorbar sindoor. Colorbar has introduced liquid sindoor in two shades “001 My Red” and “002 My Maroon”. Today, I will be reviewing Colorbar sindoor in the shade “002 My Maroon”. Read on to know more about it.

My Experience with Colorbar Sindoor 002 My Maroon:
Colorbar sindoor 002 my maroon comes in a transparent plastic lip gloss kind of tube with an easy to apply applicator attached to its cap. The bottle is absolutely leak-proof and is very lightweight too. There is a transparent plastic packaging over it which contains the shade name and other details. The shade name is mentioned at the base of the tube as well. The packaging does not contain any ingredients list.
The applicator attached to the cap is of perfect size to pick the right amount of product. All one has to do is use the applicator to wear it right at the middle partition of the scalp or forehead as per choice.
It is a nicely pigmented sindoor with a very mild floral fragrance. The fragrance is almost negligible. So, no issues on that part. The maroon shade dries up to a matte maroon colour after application. It looks beautiful and will suit almost all the skin tones.
The texture is just right like lip gloss. It glides on smoothly over the skin. Just one swipe gives a very good colour. It survives a few splashes and doesn’t smudge by sweat. It is not a waterproof sindoor and comes off easily with water.
The lasting power is somewhere around 6 hours, after that it looks dull and cakey. If you are ardent user of Lakme jewel sindoor like me, I am adding a picture of both the sindoor swatches. The formula and staying power of both is same. The only difference is in colour. The Lakme jewel sindoor maroon has very tiny golden particles in it and is a little darker in shade than the Colorbar Sindoor My maroon. I am happy with Colorbar Sindoor My Maroon as of now.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Colorbar Sindoor 002 My Maroon?
Colorbar sindoor 002 my maroon is a nicely pigmented sindoor. It is same as my favourite Lakme Jewel sindoor. I liked its little lighter shade of maroon, so I will buy it again. I want to try other shade of Colorbar sindoor too. You can give it a try for some new sindoor shade.
