Colorbar Smokin’ Eyes – Smudger Brush
I am back with another eye makeup brush review from Colorbar. It is a smudger brush. I totally love how Colorbar has named their makeup brushes which makes this brand really quirky.
Colorbar Smokin` Eyes Smudger Brush offers you seductive eyes within few strokes as the soft bristles seamlessly blends eye shadows and eyeliners. Curvy shape of the brush offers pin pint precise control facilitating one with how much goes where.
Price: Rs. 250
My Experience with Colorbar Smokin’ Eyes Smudger Brush :
The brush comes in a resalable plastic pouch which is very thoughtful. The brush has the same general make up as the other Colorbar rushes – white stem, black ferrule and colorful red bristles. The bristles are synthetic, fairly soft and non-scratchy. What attracted me to the brush were the reddish orange bristles.
The brush has a pointed dome shape and is quite stiff though not harsh on the eye. The bristles are densely packed and yet are soft to touch .The bristles are firm but not harsh and pick up the right amount of color to give you a sultry look without giving you raccoon eyes. It is pretty useful for packing on highlighter in the inner corner of the eye and for smudging kohl along the lash lines. Since it’s quite dense, it picks up a good amount of eye shadow on the tip. The size is neither too small, nor too large. It is perfect for application of color in both upper and lower lash lines. Length of the brush makes it apt for travel and also as it is a cost effective brush, you can buy multiple pieces and use for smudging, inner duct work or outer corner detailing.
Pros of Colorbar Smokin’ Eyes – Smudger Brush:
- Perfect for blending color.
- Can be used to apply color both on upper and lower lash lines.
- Bristles are quite dense.
- Perfect for smudging kohl.
- Right size and compact so apt for travel.
- Brush does not shed on washing.
- Easily available.
Cons of Colorbar Smokin’ Eyes – Smudger Brush:
Nothing that I can think of.
