Today, I am going to review Colorbar Star Shine Lip Gloss in Sensation.  I like Colorbar lip glosses a lot. I was in search of a red lip gloss and when I saw it online, I just ordered it without any second thoughts.  Read on to find whether my search for a perfect red lip gloss ended with this or not.

My Experience with Colorbar Star Shine Lip Gloss Sensation:

This lip gloss comes in a transparent, sturdy, leak proof, travel-friendly tube with a silver shiny cap. The color looks intense and pigmented red from outside the tube and some silver shimmer can be seen. The shade name is written at the bottom of the tube. It has a regular doe-foot applicator.

Though the color looks intense red from outside, it actually turned out to be very sheer when applied on the lips. It is actually a peachy-coral-red color with silver, bronze and red shimmer. It gives a pinkish-red tinge to the lips. The shimmer is not over the top and gives a nice healthy glow to the lips.

The color is not at all opaque and doesn’t cover pigmentation of the lips. The color itself is not at all pigmented. A single swatch or swipe doesn’t give red color at all. Because of its sheer coverage and healthy glow, it can be used easily in the day time and can be used casually for office and college. It can be used over lipsticks to get a nice glow and a tinge of red.

The applicator glides smoothly on the lips and applies the gloss evenly. I found the gloss to be moisturising. It is a bit sticky. There is no need to apply a lip balm beneath it. The shimmer is not at all gritty. This gloss stays on my lips for 3-4 hours without taking meals. It doesn’t survive meals.

Cons of Colorbar Star Shine Lip Gloss Sensation:

• Not at all pigmented. I expected it to give a red color.
• Its a bit sticky.

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Colorbar Star Shine Lip Gloss Sensation?

I won’t repurchase this gloss because it doesn’t give the red color I wanted and is not at all pigmented. But, if you are looking for a gloss which would give your lips a nice healthy glow or which can be worn over a lipstick, you can try this.
