Colorbar Single Eyeshadow-Star Violet

I have had extremely tiring and hectic last couple of days since I am shifting to a new place and starting everything from scratch! Oh boy, must say shifting is not at all easy especially if your hubby is out of town and you are all alone to do the packing! Thank god my parents helped me with the entire shifting process or else I don’t know what would have I done! Seriously, parents are true form of God on earth! Enough of my story,so for today, I’ll be reviewing one of my favorite purple eyeshadows, which is Colorbar’s Single Eyeshadow in the shade Start Violet!
Product Description:
The Eye Shadow is a pigmented powder that gives the eyes a shine and pearl-like effect. Ultra fine in texture, it is easy to blend while its moisturizing agent keeps your eyelids soft and smooth. This product is long lasting and fade resistant.
My experience with Colorbar single eyeshadow Star Violet:
I have never used Colorbar eyeshadows earlier, though I had heard a lot about them being affordable and of good quality. Few weeks back on my visit to Colorbar exclusive store in Mumbai, I couldn’t resist to try these and once I swatched Star Violet, it was love at first sight and I had to buy it! The shade appeared stunningly beautiful in the store light and looked even more beautiful when I saw it in the day light. The shade is very bright violet with deep purple shimmer which is extremely minute and does not show up on eyelids. The texture is smooth and goes evenly on eyelids. The eyeshadow is very easy to blend due to its satiny smooth texture. The shade belongs to pearl finish categories and is very wearable during day as well as night time. The pigmentation is amazing! The swatches you see are all of swatched once only! The staying power again is commendable! It stays on my eyes easily for 6 to 7 hours without primer but I do apply concealer as a base just to even out any discoloration on eyelids.
The only negative I found is that these eyeshadows are not available anywhere online but only in colorbar’s exclusive stores only! I wish colorbar would make their entire range of eyeshadows available online and it will definitely help to people who don’t have colorbar exclusive stores in their city. Apart from this all in all a fantastic product and totally must-have if you love bright violet shades!I have used this shade in the inner half of my eyelids and inner half on my bottom lash line in the below smokey eye look.

Availability is definitely a problem because these new range eye shadows are only available in Colorbar’s Exclusive outlets.
I have used this shade in the inner half of my eyelids and inner half on my bottom lash line in the below smokey eye look.

Do I recommend Colorbar single eyeshadow Star Violet?
Absolutely!! Its a beautiful bright violet shade and is a must-have for me in my makeup vanity!

vow… what a gorgeous shade Parita .. i think all these colorbar single eyeshadows are worth collecting, atleast better than those maybelline waala which are nt that great as reviewed by neha,… (I meant those quads)

parita, i agree with you for shifting…same happened with me last weekend, there was shifting + home warming puja, very hectic and tired…need loads of rest now…and pampering as well

Awww… U r Rt dear.. parents are god on earth.. though I have so many well wishers relatives n in laws still I was left alone while deliveringmy baby Aadya 6 mnths back. If my mum won’t have courage to travel thousands of miles alone wo b first time in her life leaving her home behind, I won’t have been so enthusiastic n fit then.. I was in emergency section for few days leaving behind my 6 day old baby.. I can’t imagine Wt wud have been our situation widout my mum..
