Colorbar Ultimate Nail Enamel Remover

I am sharing a super cool nail paint remover with you. I mean nail paint remover is never a big deal but this one is pretty awesome. Β π
Price : Rs 295
Claims and Ingredients:

This nail paint remover comes in a red jar. There is a thick sponge soaked in nail paint remover in the jar. A little opening is made on top of the sponge. You put your finger inside the opening and twist it. The sponge removes all the nail polish within seconds and you are done! π
The good points :
- it is very efficient and removes the nail polish within seconds.
- great during the travel. I find it a great time pass. π
- convenient.
- you can also soak the Q tip with this. I like to use a Q tip to clean the edges.
- does not leave nails dry.
- leaves a lovely fragrance behind.
- lasts for 3 months.
- quite expensive for a nail paint remover.
- you cannot use it for your feet.
- sometimes when you take your finger out of it, it drips.
- it doe snot get the very edges of the nail paint on nails.

oh is it? I dint know about the bourjois one. But as you said, better. π
Hahaa!! How cute!!!! :p :p good one for lazy bums like me.. There shud be something for the feet also na.. :p :p
hihihh I know. Nothing for feet. But pretty awesome. i am like uber excited about it and I have ended up removing my nail paint just for fun. π
Wow….so cool….like the Bourjois ones that never got launched in India na….yay for this one π
i saw the Bourjois ones in Shoppers Stop in Kolkata Jomol!
oh .. actually i think i must check out the bourjois one as well. :))

it’s is pretty awesome nafisa and since you do loads of nail art, this would be great for you. π
i know!! i immediately checked online but all sold out π so gotta check out the stores now, i’m sure even dr it’ll sell off quickly coz of this review π
yeah check it out at the counter. π
cool….but Bourjois did launch before colorbar…. π
yeah i just checked on bourjois page. they launched it in march and guess it must have come to india somewhere around that time. π
Hey this is cool! Sure buy! And time pass he he he
Rati….Marilyn Monroe collection launching today na? me wantsss….. :((
yeah i know sandhya. π
rashmita, guess it’d take time to come to india.
yeah….looking for some perfect MLBB for my nc 42 from MAC, New Zen might be little too light for me…..what say?
I was wondering how this can be used on toes, anyways you told it cant be used, otherwise i would have imagined myself trying to get my toes into it. he he just kidding. I always find the nail paint removing so tedious and messy. This one is surely in my shopping cart next time. Also, I got an idea how to remove the nail paints from the sides too
yeah not for toes. plus i guess it wouldnt be hygienic as well. π def check it out. π
saves so much time really π
i like the demo part piccysss….good one rati
Hahahaha, correct awkard pose.. Btw Rati’s idea for making such jar at home can be experimented.
i know neha. pretty awesome. :))
thanks priyanka. π
shikha.. what awkward pose?? yeah but try it with non alcoholic remover.
awesome idea.. I already made note of things I will need to make this at home… Hope it will work.. π
Thanks for sharing Rati π
hihihhi welcome :))
I am going to doing to myself!! As you said, need a jar, sponje and a remover π
Demo pics are lovely :-*
Saw a similar nail paint remover review in EMBB few months back!! Glad it has been launched in india also!!!
Thank you. :)) i know. We must have access to all cool things in India as well. π
Loved the idea!!! I find it a pain removing nail paints with that
…with that cotton rub! :/ It already submitted before I was done hihihi π π
hihih should check this out. π
Bourjois has a similar one..and much before a local brand had it..I had seen it many yrs back..but as u mentioned can be easily made at home..
wow… i had seen this in USA bt could never find it in india. Finally its here…….. however there is one thing about this kind of remover, if you have sensitive skin then you should avoid coz the remover leaves a burning sensation
it never left any burning sensation priyanka. used it a lot of times. and this is acetone free. π
i had used this kindda remover years backβ¦ but that was non branded oneβ¦ nice reviewβ¦ and great pics π
This looks super cute and wonderful. thanks for the review Rati.
Great idea….but not for me! Coz I only paint my toe nails! Sob sob….
welcome nidhi.:)
oh!! @varsha
great DIY tip Rati! π I will make my own sponge nail enamel remover… fingers crossed!
oh!! great. Good luck and let me know how it turns out to be π
definitely checking out this one… π
Please tell me it works just as well for glitter polishes!
whoa!
This looks really useful and nice.. Definitely gonna buy.. Thank you for d review :).. but sad that cant be used for our toes π sob sob
And Rati di i dont mind spending 295 bucks coz i have tried so many removrs they make my nails yellow π
I had bought a local jar exactly with the same concept of the colorbar jar. That was for just Rs 30,but ofcourse a bit harsh(mostly acetone i guess :|) But I loved the idea and starting making my own jar π All it needs is around 40-50 ML nailpaint remover(Lakme nail paint remover is my favorite followed by Avon’s), a small piece of sponge and any jar(I used the tiny 100 gm Kissan jar bottle) π π
This is so cute!!
Hihihihi you found this as a great time pass π π
Rati Bourjois also has one.. but it’s expensive than this.. I saw this one and tested it the other day.. but it left a white cast on my nails :/ and I pointed that out to the SA and told her it isnt acetone free .. she said no no that aint white cast thats the trace of Vitamin E the remover has..LOL…The SA was coaxing me to purchase it..but she couldnt convince me enough.. π π
Oh and I tried making it at home it does the same job π π
u knw i pickd up a cameo one fr 75 INR
it’s d same concept n wrks xctly in d same way
thou dey ran out of stock by the tym i wantd to pick it up again
i so want to stock dem
dey remove d color widout leaving any stains
this s so cool gotta get it…..
Try acetone worth Rs 28, you will get it from a medical store. Its the best, does not make your nails yellow or harms it. I have been using it since long time.
I have made a similar one at home with sponge stuffed in a empty face cream bottle and lakme remover. It works well
Hey i just got it yesterday. I think it works just fine but yeah you have to keep it standing or it will drip. I guess next time ill try making it home with a sponge and acetone. π
Its price is βΉ399/- now *nonono*
