Colorbar Vivid Blue I-Glide Eye Pencil Review

Colored liners are something I do not wear regularly but I pick up a few every now and then to add oomph to everyday look. Vivid Blue is a new shade from the Colorbar I Glide range and here is the review of the same.

My Experience with Colorbar Vivid Blue I-Glide Eye Pencil:

The pencil is a sharpen-able one with a color coded base and a plastic cap. The outer silver paper carton has all the required information about the product. The problem I see with the packaging is the cap; a click shut cap would have given the mental satisfaction of carrying it in makeup pouch. Though it has never come off but if it does, it would be a mess.

The texture of the eye pencil is slightly less creamy compared to other pencils from the same range. It does not tug or pull the lid but a creamier texture is possible. The pigmentation is superb. One swipe deposits enough color on the lids for a gorgeous hue to the eye makeup. The tip being small, the pencil has to be sharpened after every use, so, the pencil will get used up soon.

The shade is a vibrant shade of aqua blue. Though the name reads blue, it is not a proper blue. There are other shades of blue if you are looking for a royal blue for the eyes. It has micro shimmers so I do not use it on the waterline, so I will not comment on that.

The staying power is awesome as it does not move once set. The liner stays on for 5 hours minimum without fading at all. After that it starts to fade and wear out. A little touch-up takes care of the issue. Though not a must have but if you are fond of bright bold colored liners, give this one a try. It is not for the weak hearted that is for sure.

Repurchase – I might not repurchase as I do not wear colored liners that often.
Recommend – If you like bold bright liners for the eyes, give this new shade a try.
