I am one of those people who constantly looks for “the” perfect sunscreen. Today, I am going to review one of my favorite summer staples Colorescience Sunforgettable Loose Mineral Sunscreen Brush Broad Spectrum SPF 50.This is a portable brush-on mineral sunscreen. It provides SPF 50 protection from harmful UVA/UVB rays. This product is perfect for touch ups throughout the day as it applies in powder form.

Product Description:
This powder sunscreen comes in self dispensing portable brush. Water resistant for 80 minutes. Chemical free and non-greasy. Available in four tint, the highly refined mineral formula offers everyday broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection with a hint of color for all-day touch-ups. This product is also available in SPF 30. It is formulated without parabens and phthalates.

My Experience with Colorescience Sunforgettable Loose Mineral Sunscreen Brush Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

Packaging: This comes in a sleek, self-dispensing, retractable applicator brush. The brush is extremely dense and ultra-soft on skin which makes it glide over the skin effortlessly. The brush is of extremely high quality and not even a single strand has come out through my entire use. You can unscrew the bottom to refill the product once you run out of it, but they have temporarily discontinued selling refills separately. The brush is 100% washable, but make sure to empty the content first in an empty clean container, wash and dry the brush and refill the product again.

It is recommended to sweep the brush over your skin to release powder. Use small circular strokes to release more powder for more coverage. Apply liberally and evenly all over your face and chest before sun exposure; reapply every two hours throughout the day for continued protection.

Texture and Feel on skin: This sunscreen is as light as a feather and a “barely there” powder instead of a heavy cream. The fine powder sinks into the skin completely and provides a hint of natural-looking color to keep my complexion fresh. It’s easy to apply over makeup for shine-free touch-ups. It can be used on neck, chest and back of your hands.

Performance: I hate applying sunscreens as they seem to be very heavy on my skin and always leave some kind of residue. I also don’t like SPF in my day-time moisturizers. This product was recommended to me by a friend and I bought one in the shade “Medium” (other shades are Fair, Tan, and Deep). This product comes in four shades. This product is suitable for all skin types. I have been using this product for a year now and I am in awe of it.

I use it with or without makeup every day and reapply it as and when necessary. It has never left my skin dry, clogged my pores or caused any break outs. It seamlessly and uniformly provides matte finish and life to my complexion with forever, always necessary sun protection, I can’t ask for more. I personally use this instead of setting powder if applying makeup.
