Hey all,

Product Description:
My Experience with Coloressence 72 Nectar Mesmerising Lipstick:
Packaging: It comes in the classic Coloressence “Mesmerising” range packaging. The lipstick comes in a matte black plastic covering with a silver border thing. I like the matte black packaging, it’s quite for the price. The bullet is silver in color. The shade name and number are written on a sticker at the bottom of the lipstick. The lipstick doesn’t twist that easily, but I do not mind. The cap closes with a nice audible click. Overall, it’s sturdy enough to throw in your purse, travel friendly, and looks good too.
Color/Pigmentation: “Nectar” is a gorgeous n*de color. It looks a light orange shade but on the lips, it is a beautiful MLBB shade. I really love how cute the shade is, it’s a good shade for every day wear, be it college or at work.
It might wash out dark skin tones, but a dark lip liner can make this one work! It isn’t that pigmented, so you need two coats for an opaque finish.
Texture: I love that it is smooth and creamy. The texture is good, it glides nicely on normal lips. It might tug a little bit on dry lips, but it won’t highlight the cracks on your lips or any dry patches.
The lipstick does moisturise a little bit, but as time passes, you feel the dryness. Hence a lip balm is a must if you are going to apply it for longer duration.
It takes a lot of time to settle into a semi-matte finish.
Staying Power: It wears for 5-6 hours. It does fade a bit with meals. It doesn’t leave a stain behind though! 🙂
Smell/Taste: There isn’t any particular smell or taste. It might have a light fragrance, but on the lips, you don’t feel anything.
