I’m back with another shade in this range. It’s called aqua marine blue. I’m obsessed with eye makeup currently, so I had to get this. Let’s see how this one fares!

My Experience On Coloressence Aquamarine Blue Supreme Liner:
Packaging: This eye liner comes housed in a cardboard packaging, like the coloressence pencil liners. The back side of the cardboard displays the relevant information about the product. The front is colour coded, but who keeps the cardboard anyway? The sticker at the bottom doesn’t reveal the colour name, so spotting it is very difficult especially when you own more than one of these. You could easily mistake it for a black liquid liner.
The bottle is a bit big than your regular bottled liquid liners, I feel. It is matte black in colour, indicating that the product settles to a matte finish. The tip is pretty long. The applicator functions very well and gives you just enough grip to perfect your liner. I like the applicator and the ease with which I can work with the liner.
Colour/Pigmentation: The colour of this liner is blue with lots of silver shimmer in it. The colour is so similar to Essence Eye pencil in Feel the Maritime, but in liquid form. The pigmentation is good. Two coats are needed for an opaque look. When it is wet, the colour is bold and intense, but as it dries, it kind of settles to a semi matte yet shimmery/metallic colour. I know it’s weird!
Texture: It is a pearly liner that settles into a matte finish after it dries. It dries pretty fast if you’ve applied a thin coat of the product. It glides on easily on the eyes, no problem with the texture. But, it isn’t smudge proof as it claims. It smudges so damn easily! When you smudge it, the glitter spreads. But when you apply it, unlike Duke Blue you can see the shimmer! It isn’t even water resistant as claimed! Don’t they test the product before launching it? The claims are all lies! The only truth is that it doesn’t flake, but who cares when you liner smudges so easily! :/ Lets look at the positive side. It does smudge, and it feels like a blue glitter eye shadow when you smudge it. Maybe use it on your eyes for blending this blue liner for a subtle blue eye look? :p
Staying Power: It smudges. It isn’t water resistant. Do you expect it to stay longer? Another lie- ‘Lasts all day’. Truth-‘Lasts all of 2-3 hours’ and that too if you do not accidently rub your eyes, which I do without realising that I’m wearing a liquid/pencil liner.
Lets sum up the pros and cons:
Pros of Coloressence Aquamarine Blue Supreme Liner:
• Pretty Blue.
• Settles to a matte finish.
• Claims to have Almond oil and natural carbon and marine pigments.
• Applicator is easy to work with.
Cons of Coloressence Aquamarine Blue Supreme Liner:
• Isn’t water resistant.
• Not at all long lasting.
• No mention of shade name on the product.
IMBB Rating: 3 / 5
I’d choose any other liquid liner, but not this! :/
