Eye products rarely go unnoticed by the IMBB team. The Coloressence H.D. Eye Definer Pencil looked promising, plus it came with a free eyeshadow. Reason enough to give in to temptation! And here I am with the review for my favorite ladies. 🙂
The eyepencil is sleek and travel friendly, with a black body. It is not retractable, something I would have preferred, but then many like sharpenable pencils for precision and hygiene reasons. A pretty fuss free packaging, with the details printed on the body of the eye definer. The outer casing has all the details written.
My Experience with Coloressence Black H.D. Eye Definer Pencil:
Coloressence offers more misses than hits, so I was skeptical. But anyway, I went ahead and purchased it. The color is not jet black, but an intense matte black. Those who like glossier blacks won’t definitely be happy. But for all who love wearing matte black for everyday look will surely love the color.
The pigmentation is surprisingly great. One swipe gives a rich black payoff, and two swipes can help add drama to your look. Bonus points for the pigmentation! The texture is smooth, and the tip is soft, and excess pressure might result in crumbling. Nonetheless, it glides effortlessly both on the lids and on the waterline, without any tugging or pulling.
It is water resistant and smudge-proof, and is one of the few eye pencils which have not given me panda eyes; another reason to love this product. Without a powder, it stayed put for around 5 hours, and with powder it lasted a couple of hours more. I have rubbed my eyes, but not ended up with raccoon eyes and I simply can’t thank this enough.
It hasn’t irritated my eyes or caused any tingling sensation. It gets removed with any oil based makeup remover or good cleansing wipe. I am not personally fond of sharpenable pencils, as such pencils lead to product wastage, but some might like it. Except this, there is nothing NOT to love about this. I am gladly repurchasing a backup because it goes out of stock so soon.

• Easy to remove
Cons of Coloressence Black H.D. Eye Definer Pencil:
