Coloressence blush sh-2
I have been experimenting with blushes a lot. There was a time when I barely wore blushes to social events mainly in the evening. But now since I have an array of blushes ranging form matte light pinks to frosty copper, I know what works best for what time of the day. I honestly wear a blush now every time I go out. My most favourites being the bourjois brune rose and the Elizabeth arden soft plum both of which are matte and very light so you can just touch up and go.
In the same effort to find more day wear blushes, I bought this blush from coloressence. I was hoping this will be matte but it turned out to be a sot shimmer one. The blush costs 220 and you get a decent amount in a nice matte black packing which again is a little bit of an issue because it is not a click lock but it’s a screw lid which is a pain if you want to carry it around on the go specially if you are handling a toddler and a huge tote bag like me 😐
This blush is a soft shimmer one, the color is a coppery peach. Well, I wish it was more peach and less copper and metallic. When you wear it the color shows up as a warm hint of golden peach color on the cheeks and the golden fine shimmer does not make it very suitable to day wear unfortunately .The color does look very nice and light for early evening though and it will look great on warmer skin tones and dusky beauties rather than skin with pinker tones.
The texture is not impressive at all. It is very average for me it does not show up much on the brush or the face. It is very light in pigmentation. The color does not have fall out at all because it is not powdery rather it feels very hard on the pan . When you pick it up with the pan you have to go again and again. Basically it is neither smooth or powdery neither is it pigmented but very average . Due to this reason it shows up very lightly on the skin too.
On me it stays for two or less hours because it melts due to my oily skin. I am hoping it will stay for more on normal skin.
Last word: Nice coppery peachy with gold for evening wear. Don’t expect smoothness or pigmentation but a soft peachy gold color.

I have this and its more like a bronzer, I guess they have named it wrongly.
oh nice wont bronzers be a lil dark
Not at all, it looks darker here but in real its more like that orange tanned bronzing powder.

yes 3 hours isnt good na 🙁
I love the shade Neha! I have never heard of coloressence as a brand, have you used their other products?
i love that color neha but not that great a product. reminds me of lakme blush in ginger..something.
Hi Neha! I absolutely love this blush and had the exact opposite experience! It lasted all day on me and completely transformed. The swatch on my hand is not the same when I blend it out on my cheeks (I have combination skin). It looked like a beautiful flush of colour with a good amount of shimmer! I never highlight when I use this. It definitely lasted much much more than the NYX cream blushes I have. Everyone is different I guess! 🙂
