Coloressence Color Your Spirit Blusher Review

Coloressence Color Your Spirit Blusher Review

I love makeup and blusher is one of the most favorite and important makeup products to me. I like to highlight my cheeks and so I have been experimenting with a whole range of blushers from highly pigmented to barely-there kinds. The one that I am going to review now is a set of three blushers from Coloressence Cosmetics that comes in one of my favorite shades.

My Take on Coloressence Color Your Spirit Blusher:

This makeup brand being fairly new is quite good in quality and cost wise as well. I would not call it the best makeup of course, but I feel it gives you a great deal for the money that you spend on it, especially the blusher and eye makeup products. I’m surprised to find out that they are as good as some of the high-end brands. So, here is my take on this product which comes in three shades out of which “Amber Peach” is my most favorite one.

Amber Peach:

Very soothing, light peach color that goes best for fair to wheatish skin. If like me, you love putting on nude makeup, its great for that. It gives a sun-kissed natural look to your cheeks.  I personally am fond of this one.

Satin Beige:

This is a dark beige color, good for creating dusky and tanned looks. Another add on to this color is that I use it for contouring my face also, it works great.

Basic Mauve:

Well, this color is not actually basic mauve as its name says. Actually, it’s a darker version for mauve and I find it a bit too bright for my skin tone and it’s my least favorite one out of all the three.

Here, I’m wearing the Amber Peach (my favourite shade).

What I Like about Coloressence Color Your Spirit Blusher:

  • It is actually velvety, very smooth to touch, and it smears beautifully with the brush strokes.
  • The colors are totally different from each other and that gives a range of choice as per the skin color. Oh! I can’t describe how I love the Peach and Beige ones 😀
  • Another plus point for this blusher is that the “Satin Beige” blusher can also be used for face contouring as well as a blusher, it is such a contouring color for any skin color.
  • The pricing is quite decent for a pack of 3 different shades of 3 grams each.
  • Never broke me out, yay!!
  • It is purely matte, no shiny stuff in it (I hate shimmer for day wear), so it’s a daily wear blusher.

What I Do Not Like about Coloressence Color Your Spirit Blusher:

  • They do not last for a long time, you will have to reapply them if you want to wear them all day long.
  • Not many choices available for the blusher range.
  • The brand does not tell a detailed list of other ingredients that it contains apart from “Barley Extract.”

Overall, it’s a great combo of shades, quality of product and reasonable pricing.  I would recommend you to give it a try if you like to experiment with new and reasonable products.

Will I Buy Coloressence Color Your Spirit Blusher Again?

Yes, for my favorite shades.
