Coloressence Compact Powder Beige Review, Swatch

Coloressence Compact Powder (Beige) Review

Hello,

IMBB Cuties! :puchhi:

Coloressence is actually the cosmetic range introduced my Nature’s Essence group manufacturing body and skin care products. This cosmetic range has wide variety of products, I have used many of them. Some failed in my case and some other scored really well. The most unique feature of Coloressence range is its reasonable price and versatile products that would cater to all masses. So here is my take on their compact powder.

Coloressence Compact Powder review

Rs- 110 for 10 gm, I got this for Rs 91 after discount

What the Company Says:

information

Ingredients:
Aloe vera extract, Rose Oil, Clove oil.

My Experience:

Coloressence Compact Powder

As all of you can see this product has already expired and lots of quantity still left so I would have to throw it out very soon. :(( I had bought this product in 2009 when I had asked the SA of a cosmetic store to suggest me some cheap, non comedogenic yet effective compact. I have already reviewed their makeup base that I bought along with this compact in the shade Beige. This compact along with the aqua make up base gives me flawless makeup look. This shade really did suit my complexion and didn’t feel cakey on application. The most wonderful thing is that it is completely sweat resistant and controls sweat too. It gives totally matte finish and light to medium coverage. Whenever I use my Neutregena sunblock SPF 50, the oiliness is entirely neutralized when I top it with this compact. It has four shades available just like their aqua make up base:

-It has mainly four shades:

>Brown- For dark complexion
>Beige- For medium complexion.
>Ivory- For fair complexion
>Pink- For skin with pink undertone.

This compact didn’t break out me once and seriously imparts a natural look that I rarely found when I used Lakme compact. (Old ones not Perfect Radiance). So much quantity is still left because when I had bought it, I wasn’t accustomed with regular use of compact and used it when I would go out somewhere. I didn’t use it while going to college though, I was bit careless during those days about my appearance as such. So now when it expired, I regret why I didn’t use it much.

Pros of the Compact Powder:

-Contains aloe vera extract, rose oil and clove oil.
-Its manufactured by Nature’s Essence group that uses minimum preservatives and dyes.
-Its non comedogenic.
-100 % Vegetarian and contains no animal ingredients.
-Imparts matte finish that stays all day long. :preen:
-I require minimum touch ups, once after 4-5 hours.
-Gives light to medium coverage.
-Gives flawless look when used with aqua make up base.
-Clove oil has anti-inflammatory properties and would suit those with acne too.
-The shade beige did suit me a lot and its application is not cakey or ott.
-It blends really well on skin.
-It hides much of my blemishes really well.
-Instantly relieves dull and tired appearance.
-Sweat resistant and controls sweat too.
-It’s a great product for those with oily and combination skin.
-It is very reasonable for 10 gms quantity.
-I find its black packaging and all very attractive.
-The puff provided with it is really awesome and lasted me all while.

Cons of the Compact Powder:

-Its texture is not that silky smooth.
-Only 4 shades are available.
-Doesn’t conceal my freckles entirely.
-Its available only at shops where Nature’s Essence products are available.
-It doesn’t give complete coverage as mentioned in the packaging.

Rating: 4 out of 5

Will I repurchase? :haanji: Yes, I will repurchase it after my Lakme Perfect Radiance and Lotus Compact finishes.
