My Experience with Coloressence Craneberry Intense Long Wear Lip Color:
The outer paper carton is a mix of silver and black with a window at the side for the lipstick. The details about the product are mentioned at the back of the “flimsy” paper box. The shade name and number are mentioned at the base (the name should be called “Cranberry!”), but the sticker mentioning these details is not color coded; so you have to remember the shade name and the corresponding color. Though the lipstick is smart and sturdy, I believe it has room for improvement, especially the outer carton.
The texture of this particular shade is rather disappointing. It is much more dry compared to the other shades from this range and tugs my lips during application, but it does not feel heavy on the lips and as there is no shimmer in the shade, it does not feel gritty at all. It is quite uncomfortable to wear such a dry shade but the shade is really nice, so I moisturize my lips well and then, after applying the lipstick, top it off with a shine-free lip balm.
The shade “Craneberry” is a beautiful dark pink with evident red undertones. Although it is a common color, but it is one such shade that will suit a lot of skin tones and age groups. The only glitch is the texture of this particular shade, so prepping the lips prior and then balm on the top is a must.
The staying power is good but without a lip balm, it is not possible to keep this lip color on for more than an hour. I have normal lips, which do get dry if I do not take care before and after applying the color. So, staying power is something very dicey to discuss when this particular shade is concerned. If all the prepping and follow up is done, it stays for about 4-5 hours on my lips. Due to the balm on top, food/drink takes away the intensity of the shade and hence touch-up is necessary.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Coloressence Craneberry Intense Long Wear Lip Color?
Repurchase – yes, but in some other shade.
Recommend – only if you are ready to work hard to make it work, go ahead. This is a pretty shade but I feel it is too much of hard work to make a lipstick work.
