Coloressence Lip Liner in Nude Pink and Fuschia Pink

Coloressence Lip Liner in Nude Pink and Fuschia Pink

Hello Lovelies,

Today I am writing a review of two of my favorite products and they are the pink panther’s …oops pink hoarder’s first pink lip liners. They were lying in the stash since months, but I was not getting time (na na.. mood) to review them. I saw the n*de pink beauty on a website and ordered it, I loved the color so much that for the first time a lip liner was completely finished by me, and I ordered a second one also. I used it as a lipstick base, and also like a lipstick alone. So let’s head towards my few words which I wrote for you all, so that you can choose a right product *hihi*.

Price:- INR 299 for Shade Nude Pink and INR 225 for Shade Fuschia Pink.

Packaging: The lip liner in nude pink comes in a black retractable pencil, with the twist up mechanism, thank god, the product also goes down, it is not one way retractable. It has a small cutter type thing attached at the bottom (which is also a color coding part of the liner), I haven’t discovered yet what is it, but looks similar to a cutter only. The eye & lip liner one is a sharpen able wooden pencil type, with the same colored body & a thin plastic cap which looks cheap yet nice too. The packaging is okay.

My Take on Coloressences Lip Liner in Nude Pink & Fuschia Pink

The former one in nude pink is a very nice warm toned pink, which will look very soft & flattering on every skin tone. Latter one in fuschia pink is a pink shade with cool undertones. It’ll suit basically fair to medium skin tone beauties, because it a kind of a hot pink shade, their are chances to look loud out dusky skin tones. I think the latter one can be used generously on eyes too, as there is a fashion of pink eyeliners too, Lakme also had a shimmery pink liner in its collection, so I find no harm in wearing this color as an eye liner. Both the lip liners have mixed soft-hard kind of texture, i.e., they glide easily on lips and eyes and are creamy in texture, but they are not that buttery soft, but the texture makes them stay long, transfer proof & smudge proof too. I must say the latter one is completely true to the claim of being smudge proof. Both the liners are very decent in pigmentation, one swipe is good to impart enough color to cover naturally pigmented lips, you can wear these as a lipstick too. These lip liners lacks a bit of moisturizing formulae in them. I mean when I was wearing them in winters they both provide moisturisation for half an hour and after that I felt an urge to wear a lip balm.

Staying Power: The coloressence lip liner in n*de pink stays on me for 3 to 3.5 hours and so, and the latter one in Fuschia stays the same on lips but as a eye liner on the lids it has disappointed me, it stays on for 2 hours and then fades away itself, without touching or rubbing the eyes. I was satisfied using them as lip liners and lipstick only for my pink & fuschia pink lipsticks.

Pros of  Coloressence Lip Liner in Nude Pink and Fuschia Pink

• Very nice shades, both of them.
• Will suit every skin tone.
• Very cheap
• Quality is more than what we pay
• Texture is good, glides smoothly on lips, no tugging & pulling
• Is transfer & smudge proof too
• I think the fuchsia pink can be used sometimes as a eye liner too.
• Very nice pigmentation
• Stays a good for 3- 3.5 hours
• Easily available.

Cons of Coloressence Lip Liner in Nude Pink and Fuschia Pink:

• It is not satisfactory in the staying power department as an eyeliner.
• Lacks a bit of moisturisation, dry lip beauties may not like this.
• The moisturisation lasts for half an hour or for just an hour only.

Recommendation/ Re-purchase: Yes, I’ll definitely suggest these lip liners to everyone, and if you like the colors surely go for it, they are dirt cheap from a good brand and has a nice quality. I wish Coloressence would improve the moisturising formula of these liners. I have already re purchased the n*de pink shade and will continue to buy it.

Last Word on Coloressence Lip Liner in Nude Pink and Fuschia Pink :

Personally, as a pink lover I liked both the lip liners, they are cheap and are soft in texture, glide smoothly on lips, very nice warm & cool toned pinks, and stay put for a good 3 to 3.5 hours, what else do we want for the price. I think these cuties deserve a try at least once. And are easily available everywhere and on Indian websites.
