This is my very first post on IMBB and I am too excited to share my reviews on a beautiful lipstick I came across recently.  I have been a regular reader of this blog from the past 6 months and I came across it through the page of Rati di while browsing Google for the reviews of a beauty product. There’s no looking back since then, because I wholeheartedly trust the reviews updated here by experienced writers as they have helped me in shopping wisely. Thanks to the IMBB team. 😀

Now, let’s come straight to the product that this post is all about. Today, I am reviewing a mesmerizing shade of pink from Coloressence, which I feel is a very underrated brand because the company doesn’t spend much on its advertisement just as Revlon’s Streetwear and its limited availability across the counters.  I came across this brand while I was shopping for some eyeliner on a temporary counter opened up at a mall here.

My Experience with Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color – Passionate Pink:

The shade “Pink Passionate” is a very light shade of pink. It comes in a black opaque case with the brand name encrypted upon throughout the lid. It closes with a click sound so it can be carried in a handbag safely without any worries. I completely fell in love with it when I first swatched it on my arm. After swatching some other shades from this bran, I picked this particular one as I am new to lipsticks and didn’t want to try any bold color.  Trust me ladies, there isn’t a day I don’t drool over the shade of this lipstick.

It has a matte texture and glides easily on the lips. It’s a perfect shade for college going girls and working women. It can be worn everyday with a lip balm underneath as it’s a bit dry in texture. If you are fine with applying a balm/Vaseline underneath, I don’t see any reason of not purchasing this lipstick.  It stayed on my lips for approximately two hours without eating, with some juice in between, which decreased the amount of color on my lips but still was very visible. The stain doesn’t go away easily on removing if you have applied it more than once.

• Claims to contain natural ingredients.
• SPF 15.
• Nice pigmentation.
• Affordable.
• Perfect shade for everyday wear.
• Nice packaging.

Cons of Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color – Passionate Pink:

• Needs a coating of lip balm underneath the lipstick, especially on dry lips.
• Limited availability.
• Slightly difficult to remove.

Overall Verdict:

The shade “Pink Passionate” is true to its name. Its a very light shade of fuchsia and requires more than one coating for pigmented lips. I recommend the shade to those women who don’t have extremely dry lips, who are new to the world of makeup like me and are looking for an everyday wear pink lipstick within budget.

Would I Repurchase Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color – Passionate Pink?

Yes definitely, though I also want to try some other shades from this brand.
