Recently, I picked up quite a few shades from Coloressence High Pigment Matte Pencil. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Seduction.” Read on for further details 🙂

My Experience with Coloressence Seduction High Pigment Matte Pencil:
The lipstick has a regular lip crayon packaging with a twist-up base, which works pretty fine. It does not require any messy sharpening. The matte black pencil has a color-coded red base that makes it easy to spot the shade from my vanity. The crayon has a black cap, which fits securely and does not come off when you carry it around. This chubby crayon bears all the product details on it like its description, ingredients list, shade name, etc just everything. I am really happy to see that the pencil bears the shelf life. The pencil is really lightweight, hand and travel friendly.
The shade “Seduction” is a hot red lip color with some orange-y undertones. The shade is very flattering and suits my warm skin tone pretty well. The red hot lip color looks so attractive on the lips. It will suit a wide variety of Indian skin tones well. This is really a gorgeous bridal red shade. The lip color is free from any shimmer or glitter. It sets to a lovely matte finish with time and it is amazingly pigmented. It is really a high pigment lip color as the name conveys. Just one swipe is good enough to get a pop of color to the lips and just two swipes are good enough to build up the colour and give an opaque coverage to hide pigmented lips as well.
The texture is soft but not very smooth and creamy, it’s somewhere in between. The lipstick does not cause any tugging or pulling of the lips. It glides effortlessly on the lips giving an even finish and texture. The formula is pretty moisturizing, which is quite good for a matte lip color, but my lips feel slightly dry after a few hours of application. So, I prefer to apply a lip balm underneath. The lipstick feels lightweight and soft on the lips.
The color stains the lips really badly and a lot of effort is required to take it off completely. I find it really difficult to remove its stain. I need a good makeup remover to take off the color completely.
The staying power is more than 6 hours, which is quite impressive. The color looks so fresh even after hours of application. The lipstick does not transfer heavily and does not budge much. It easily survives meals with a little fading, but it accentuates fines lines, so reapplication becomes necessary. Overall, the shade is pretty and worth a try.
