Today I am going to share my views on Coloressence Cake Eyeliner in the shade “Tourquish Blue”. I am in love with colored liners and it is a really beautiful shade. Read on to know more about it.

My Experience with Coloressence Tourquish Blue Cake Eyeliner:
Packaging: The eyeliner comes in a small black cardboard box and the actual liner is placed in a nice cute black container with a clear screw cap. It looks pretty and is easy to carry around. But it doesn’t have any mirror and also it doesn’t have any brush applicator, I need to use a different eyeliner brush for it. Still, considering the quantity it is totally an affordable eyeliner. I absolutely love it.
Shade: The eye liner comes with two different shades and I have the shade “Tourquish Blue” and this is a beautiful shade. It is a gorgeous turquoise blue shade which looks nice on all skin tones. It has a unique touch to it and it doesn’t have any shimmer. Also it is a pigmented shade that needs only two stokes for the true color. As it is a cake liner so I need to wet my brush beforehand and then apply it on my eyes; with a wet applicator it provides that perfect color on my eyes. I can also use it dry, as a shadow, then it needs little more for the true color but in the both ways it works really nice and perfectly shows up on my medium skin tone.
Texture & Quality: It has a very soft smooth fine texture. It actually comes in a powdery texture, like an eye shadow and it glides smoothly on eyes. It never feels chalky or patchy. In wet application it glides so easily and evenly on eyes and after drying out properly, it never feels powdery. I can build up the color easily. The overall texture depends on me; I never wet my brush too much as I love that medium texture. It also dries out quickly and settles down in a perfect matte texture. In dry application it also blends smoothly without any effort and provides a soft natural finish. It never irritates my eyes but it goes into my eyes when I apply it on my waterline, so be careful during the application and never wet your brush too much.
It is easy to draw thick to thin line with it. It is totally depends on me and I can draw a nice defined wing with it. I am comfortable to work with brush so it looks nice on my eyes. It is easy to apply it on water line too. It settles down to a matte texture and the formula is decently smudge proof. It actually never smudges automatically but rubbing can smudge it. Also it doesn’t transfer to my lid. It stays on my upper eye lid nicely at its place. But on my lower lash line, it moves from its place and after 6-7 hours my lower lash line area looks slightly blue due the ‘eyeliner-smudge’. Otherwise it is a nice water resistant eye liner which looks nice on eyes.
Staying power: It stays nicely around 7 hours on my eyes and it also stays around 4-5 hours on my water line. But after 5 hours it starts to fade and it also moves from the corners. As I have super oily skin so at the end of the day my under eye area looks little messy. Only problem is to remove the liner from eyes. It is definitely good that a liner is water proof but it is really horrible when a liner is “remover-proof”. It needs a good remover to remove it and it leaves a blue stain on eyes. Stain is so difficult to remove, even with my Bioderma Sensibio. My eyes turn red but the stain doesn’t come off. This is the biggest con of this liner. I really don’t know how to remove this stain easily.
Overall I love the shade, also love the quality. It looks so pretty on eyes and it is multitasking cake eyeliner. Only if you are a beginner then you need little practice to create a sharp line with brush and you also need good eye liner brush to work with it.

• Not 100% smudge proof.
• Color looks faded and lower lash line looks little messy after 5 hours.
• Leaves a very bad blue stain on eyes.
• So difficult to remove the color properly.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Coloressence Tourquish Blue Cake Eyeliner?
I love to try different products but I just hate the stain of this. But it is a nice pocket friendly liner to try out.
