Today, I am going to review an Ultra Matte lipstick from ColourPop Cosmetics. The shade name is Ouiji and it’s a bright coral. It’s the most happening brand, here in the USA, right at this moment. All the beauty bloggers are going crazy about the stuff this brand offers.
This bright coral red summons all the boys to the yard.

How to Use:
Step 1: Make sure your lips are bare and dry!
Step 2: Apply complimentary lip pencil for a precise and perfected application.
Step 3: Apply Ultra Matte Lip with the applicator or your favorite lip brush.
**For smoothest finish always exfoliate your lips first! This thin and lightweight formula glides onto the lips smoothly and leaves SUPER intense pigment-rich colour with a bold, ultra matte look. It’s very long wearing and completely kiss proof!

My Experience with ColourPop Cosmetics Ouiji Ultra Matte Lip:
The name Ouiji comes from the name of a board that is used to for connecting with supernatural forces, almost like a planchette board. I guess, it means this shade has the force to hypnotize.
This product comes in a transparent tube with a wand applicator and an outer cardboard packaging.
Texture and Application:
The lipstick is liquid and it’s quite thin when not dry. It falls in the likes of Lime Crime Velvetines which is wet on application and goes completely dry and matte on drying. It’s very smooth and goes on well, but the applicator wand is tricky to use as it’s a liquid lipstick. It’s insanely pigmented. One should be very careful and not purse the lips while the product is still drying out as the results could be terrible (see pics for reference). Make sure you purse your lips only when the product has dried, which takes about just a minute.
Pigmentation and Coverage:
This shade is very pigmented, but goes on streaky as it’s pretty thin in consistency.
Shade and Finish:
Ouiji is a bright coral shade that looks very neon and I am not that fond of it as it makes me look 10 shades darker than my actual skintone. 😛
It’s not going anywhere until you grab your makeup remover. Mind it! Not even water can remove this. Once applied, it will last the whole day with only a bit of breaking down if you have oily food.
Is It Comfortable to Wear:
Yes, it feels just like my lips and very lightweight, but does get a bit dry after 6 hours.
The product has a sweet vanilla scent that’s very mild.
Pros of ColourPop Cosmetics Ouiji Ultra Matte Lip:
• Superb pigmentation
• Cruelty free
• Super long lasting
• Completely matte
• Numerous awesome shades to choose from
Cons of ColourPop Cosmetics Ouiji Ultra Matte Lip:
• Streaky application, with only this shade
