Every time I take look at my stash and see my stuff kept there neatly arranged, they appear to me as if they are little wrapped bundles of joy. I am so in love with these eye shadows that I cannot stop blabbering about them to everyone. Especially when I find some fellow makeup lover who lives in USA, I purposefully recommend these. People may have mistaken me as a ColourPop agent, selling their brand to everyone; I have so much love for these eye shadows! Let’s share the love amongst you guys by reviewing the shades Chipper and Dare.

My Experience with ColourPop Cosmetics Super Shock Shadow in Chipper, Dare:
The eye shadows come in little circular white casings with deep screw caps. The product is embedded in the base and quite deeply and securely enclosed by the screw cap. ‘ColourPop’ is written on top of the lid and a strong transparent window is provided on the lid to have a peek at the shade. At the back, all the details regarding the shade, weight, manufacturing etc., are mentioned. The amount of product by weight is 2.1g. No mirror or applicator is provided. Best application method is using your fingers to pat the color on your eyelids and then using a blending brush to blend it out.
The product in the pan of both shades has pebble like design all over it. The texture of the eye shadows is between a mousse and a cream eye shadow. You can imprint your fingerprints on the product. They are very smooth and silky. When you first take a swatch, it feels wet but on application it becomes dry. It is buildable and blendable. It is mentioned on the company’s website to close the screw cap very tightly as any loss in moisture will result in loss of smooth texture too. No chance of fallout or spillage. No shimmer or glitter speck. Both shades have finely milled shimmer and in their swatches they appear like liquid metal colors.
Pigmentation is great! In one swipe they pack on so much color that is remarkable!! You do not need to build up actually if you want to achieve daily look. Chipper is a very pretty metallic mint green color. This shade is a full on Arabic eye makeup essential. Dare is my favorite shade. It is a basic metallic purple color. Both shades can be used as eyeliner for daily usage for a pop up color on top of black eye liner. These shades stain very well. I was not able to wash away the stain with soap and water, only oil helped.
These eye shadows prove themselves in this area. They can stay for 9-10 hours on eyes. No creasing or fading at all. I did not use a primer or setting spray. If you are using it on humid days, I would suggest setting it with same color powder eye shadow if you have oily lids. If anything can budge these shadows, then it is oil only.
Pros of ColourPop Cosmetics Super Shock Shadow in Chipper, Dare:

Cons of ColourPop Cosmetics Super Shock Shadow in Chipper, Dare:
Would I Recommend ColourPop Cosmetics Super Shock Shadow in Chipper, Dare?
These shades are very pretty so much so that I can be innovative to use them daily and if I get a chance they will be my go-to. The only problem is availability and it is a very big problem. Still, yes I will recommend them because few of the best things in life do not come easy. 😛
